There are a number of instances where timing is brought up that probably have to do with the coming flood. Momonosuke, having read Oden's journal, said it wasn't time to open up Wano's borders and Roger said he was too early. These together most likely implies the One Piece has something to do with the flood, maybe involving a way to stop or reverse it. If that is the case, what if the One Piece is reference to when the oceans recede, revealing a Pangaea-like land mass, one piece of land.

I notice in One Piece that people make a lot of references to Christian motifs. I’m a Jew, so from insight as the source culture for Christianity and as someone who understands Hebrew and our Aramaic dialect. There is something interesting I have thought about Shirahoshi.
Hoshi’ana is a song we chant on the 7th day of Sukkot which preceeds one of the holiest days of the year. Simchat Torah - The day we begin the cycle of reading Torah again. The day we start over. Hoshi’ana is not something we would say today in Modern Hebrew, but the root of Hoshi is “to save” as well as it shares the root with “human/person”. When we chant, “Hoshi’ana” we are saying, “Please, Save me”.
Shira, meaning “song” in Hebrew - Shira’hoshi is said in this time to describe the idea of a “song of my people”. Emphasizing that the song of the Israelites is to be saved by fate. During Hoshana Rabbah, we shake palm fronds - the “Good trees” as states in Leviticus. Emphasizing the blowing of the wind, the smell of fresh citrus, and the sight of a New Dawn.
In Jewish culture; the apocolypse is not necessarily the world ending and everybody dying; it’s the world beginning. The idea is that the apocolypse is meant to bring people together towards a common goal of peace and harmony, all under one banner and leadership. The symbolism of Hoshana Rabbah is to start again, as if we have been saved. As well as, the concept of God which is most widely accepted in Jewish culture is - although personified as a man; God is the personification, and manifestation of fate itself. God is fate, and all that we do is to live towards a goal of morality, in order to attempt to sway fate. By the process of renewal, beginning at the New Year and Yom Kippur we are resetting ourselves in the eye of fate by Simchat Torah every year.
I hope if someone takes the time to read my ramblings they can appreciate the connections I tried to draw between the Fishmen and the Israelites. Jews and Samaritans have been following these traditions for 3,000 years now. Hopefully, the Fishmen don’t have to go through another 800 years of hardship 🙏🏼
Considering the Jewish angle of observations, I'm surprised that you didn't mention "Lily"(Lilith) and how mention of her is thoroughly neglected among the 3 main Christian theological classes (Christian, Catholic, Protestant), though is very much present in the Hebrew, Babylonian, Sumerian and even Egyptian references, as being equal to Adam having also been made of clay, yet became the 'Mistress' of Lucifer/Beelzebub/Satan (etc., pick a name) after forsaking Adam and Eden before later being replaced by Eve (made from Adam's 'rib' and thus a possession belonging from Adam).

Lilith.. having also been postulated as taking the serpent form and coaxing Eve, to bring about the 'original sin' causing their expulsion from paradise. Lilith; as a serpent. Now consider another well known Nefertari by the name: "Cobra".
You mentioned some interesting things and I felt that this particular thought I've been kicking around regarding the association of "Imu", and the "Nefertari" lineage sort of fit with your "ramblings"

@@iviui2d3i2 really cool thoughts :) Lilith is mentioned frequently, although Satan and other more underworldly figures are not mentioned much or are almost figurative figures in the Tanakh. Also, us Jews don’t believe in Hell so these figures become more obscure in Jewish tradition. I did notice that Lily and Imu’s names do have some interesting Hebrew roots. The root of Lilith’s name is based on Layla (Night), implying that she brought the dusk before Luffy brings the Dawn. As well as Imu, otherwise known as ‘Im is also the masculine plural suffix. -im may refer to Imu as being multiple entities, which could be The Gorosei.
As for the thoughts that Lily may have been a mistress of sorts - it is more so that she is the eternal identity of “The Betrayer”. Whereas Satan is seen as the servant of God which on Yom Kippur weighs the quality of someone’s life - thereby either allowing them to move on to the first level of Heaven, or to stay another year in the isolation of Purgatory. He is sort of like a boogeyman but objectively not evil. Lucifer is is sort of synonymous with either Satan or Azezal, but not Ba’alzebub, who is an idol worshipped by the Philistines. It’s funny how he controlled flies and that was how Vegapunk chose to “attack” Bonny. Ba’alzebub was more-so viewed as a living man who claimed to be a God, when in reality he did not truly have power. For some reason he reminds me of Charlos LOL.
I’m not super versed in The New Testement, but I will say take your time to learn some root words in Mishnaic Hebrew! You’ll realize real quickly that the King George version of the Torah and Tanakh takes a lot of liberties 😅 The writers did not really speak Hebrew. I feel it would be cool and somewhat enlightening to some people how differently we view our own texts within our source culture. Especially how God to us is actually somewhat mischevious and cruel, we respect him and fear him, but a lot of the time disagree with some lessons and interpretations of his cruelty. Through our eyes, you may be able to see how tribal Jewish culture really is. Very different than the organized nature of Christianity and Islam. The variety in opinions and the ability to question God may give you a new perspective on stories that have strong religious influence 👍🏼 loved your thoughts friend :)
@@igbl108 I too have come across how Lilith is associated with 'night', as well as, within Orphist/Hellenist belief systems, being associated to "Nyx/Nox", or spoken of as "The Moon Goddess" within certain sects. So the fact that you bring up "night" ties in quite well.
The real mystery, to me at least, is how in the heck Oda-san (whom had begun chasing the goal of being a great Mangaka at a relatively young age) has/had enough time to be so well-read and knowledgeable about world cultures, heritage, literature, religion etc., as well as having a decent grasp and sophisticated understanding of polytheism, and how to approach it from an "author's" angle. It would seem that even prior to his 20's, he hardly had enough time to 'piss in the wind', and yet, has a varied breadth of applicable knowledge regarding historical events and cycles, (particularly the deeper lore within the history of our world) that is not a part of the 'average' Japanese high-school curriculum (my wife is Japanese, and emigrated to the U.S. in her late 20's; she has verified for me that school is very standardized there and that, although they sometimes did briefly touch upon subjects like this, it was never really to any meaningful depths), and it makes me wonder if the man truly never sleeps.

Has anyone else went back to rewatch Mr Morj’s theory vid on the one piece world being a massive supercontinent and what we see now is just whats left after a massive flood in the past(probably during or right before the void century)?
Hell, we see underwater ruins multiple times and we even see Jimbe pull up ponyglyph from the bottome of the ocean. Which tells me that the Kozuki’s were around before this great flood and they were creating and spreading the ponyglyphs around before the flood occurred.
It could be due to the red line being an artificial(potentially a df) creation.
Imu could have the Mythical Zoan df Model: Jormungander(doubt it spelled that right). With a df like that maybe Imu has the innate ability(like Luffy’s toom force powers) to create land. The giants call the red line the “Great Red Serpent”. What if that is meant to be taken literally?
Imagine Imu turning into a massive snake and wrapping around the world, then creating the land from himself. Once Imu is defeated, the red line would disappear, reuniting the world into “One Piece” of land. This would also create the all blue because there would no longer be separate seas and instead would be one giant ocean that would be connected.

I think the iron Giant was responding to the other "Sovereign" or the poseidon candidate at that time. It was inferred by the Sea Kings that Roger heard that there would be 2 "sovereigns", perhaps these "sovereigns" have similar functions in their genetic coding to the authority chips designed later by Vegapunk to grant them control over warriors like the Iron Giant.

I think that joyboys apology to fishman island was because he’d hoped to free them and allow them to come to the surface, but ultimately failed when the 20 countries banded together to destroy him and the ancient kingdom, thus forcing them to live oppressed lives and be forced to live beneath the sea

I don't think there's ever been a more thematically appropriate cover spread for a chapter called "Stalemate" than Robin using the other Straw Hats as chess pieces. And I want an actual chess set. And then play Luffy as the Queen and Nami as the King. I'm underwhelmed by Punk Records. I expected it just to be bits of grey matter everywhere, piled high in different mounds. Like a junkyard, landfill, or sand dunes of just brains. I love that this is an allegory to real life with the poles melting and rising sea levels. Also, I saw Morgans' line translated as "print news is dead.” I mean Vegapunk has now basically created radio and TV news. I think by the end of the arc, this will be the most we've seen the Straw Hats hurt as a collective. We know Robin's pretty hurt, Sanji is likely going to be pretty hurt, Luffy and Zoro always seem to get badly hurt. I am curious about Rayleigh’s reaction because I think that will give us a big hint as to what Roger saw. For instance, if he says "So the news is finally out" that tells us he already knew, which I can totally see Rayleigh saying.
"We have multiple moons in One Piece" - not necessarily, that is just how everyone interpreted a single picture of a scale model. Nowhere else has anything ever hinted at there being anything other than one singular moon. I'm pretty sure people are just making the wrong assumption based on the Ohara model, it seems more likely that there is only one moon and the model is not of the planet with its moons but the entire solar system with the caviat that this world is geocentric and not heliocentric.

There used to be eight ancient floating, drifting cities ( Alibarna, Water7, Shandora, etc). They drifted between the surface, deep sea, and sky currents. The GatesofJustice, helped to power and control this current following cities (big enough for cities to pass though!) and EnisLobby, ImpelDown, and MarineFord were the ways between these currents. Impel Down to the sea currents, a ford to go from the sea to the sky, and enis lobby as a way to go from deep sea to sky. These 8 cities are the circles we se around the larger sun circle in at least 8 counties.

If the world was flooded in the past, im guessing the lost kingdom was not composed of pirates, like we have thought may be the case. They may not have had the need to set sail just yet. Our world has 7 continents, the One Piece world has 4 main continents that are extremely larger than the ones on planet earth, and on top of that you have the red line which is basically 2 more huge continents, and thousands of islands that are all way way larger than what we have on earth, since most islands in the One Piece world are the size of whole countries on our planet. How is that unnatural? If anything it's unnatural that everything is so much bigger in that world compared to ours, not the other way around.
Am I wrong in thinking that the OP world basically consists of oceans and numerous islands, with only a mysterious red line of continents?
Reading this chapter has led me to believe that the continental part of the world may have been more extensive in the past, before the sinking.

Go look at any image of the world in the series or manga, there are more continents, like Konomi archipelago, "goat island" "organ island" or where Logue Town is for example, those are all more than big enough to be continents in our world. I'm not saying part of the world didn't get submerged, I'm saying people often don't realise the sheer scale of the One Piece world.

I have been saying since I was 12 years old( Soon 33) that the Poneglyphs are based upon the Emerald tablets of Thoth, that is said to be indestructible. The depict the fall of Atlantis and the rise of Khemet and old colony of Atlantis that is now Egypt. Oda hasent based this only upon Atlantis. it is based upon legends from all around the world and especally Lemuria/MU the home of the human race of this earth, that sank into the sea. Many religous and secret organisations in Japan have information about that continent in the pacific and their heritage.
Also a book written by Grahm Hanock who insist that our previous civilisations like atlantis and around the coastlines sank under the sea during the iec age. I highly reccomend you wtach Ancient Apocalypse. His book Fingerprint of the Gods happend to sell most of its book in Japan. The ONE PIECE world doesn’t make sense. With it having hundreds more of scattered islands for countries. That’s not how the real world is. It makes sense that a flood happened and the higher levels become scattered islands with the whole continent being under water like our own wild.
