Massive piece of my childhood. The Kiss 100 dance chart was a highlight of my week and it felt like Waterfall was in it for months, whatever the reality. It's so euphoric and like nothing else.
Hi! Ben Liebrand shared on Facebook your video with Maxi Jazz, and i instantly watched it, and also watched the other videos. I think you are doing a excellent job providing us with some insights that otherwise can't be found on the internet. As an active DJ who is playing music for 30 years, i'm grateful for all that .I wish you grow big on UA-cam. Also i subbed :) and.. keep them coming :D
Thank you Gio! And thanks to your message I found out Ben also shared it, how nice, he's such a great guy! And thank you for the kind words, I started this because I'm very passionate about music as you might have noticed hehe ;-) So some people told me I should start a music vlog. I had no experience with video editing or vlogging in general, so it took a while to get things the way I wanted. I'm still not a pro, but I hope people enjoy the content, since I think that is what matters most ;-) I'm happy with everybody who is commenting and subscribing, that keeps me motivated! And of course all people that agree to let me interview them, so we all can find out more about their tracks :)
Waterfall was literally a trance track back in time, and yes it was huge. Every ''trance'' dj's was playing it. I never liked it so much though, so i was getting tired of being played again and again back in time. I'm not into trance music. Now due to this interview, i'm hearing their second single ''Body In Motion'' for the first time, and what a fantastic track is this! It's completely different than ''waterfall''. ''Body in motion'' is a house/euro house jam highly uplifting and energetic track, and i cannot forgive myself that i didn't know it before. I need this ''Body in motion'' track on 12''vinyl. So i really thank you for this interview that made me discover ''Body in motion'' track.
Thanks Jack! And yes, I think this is the first / only video interview of them together, so I'm very happy I managed to speak to them together. And what a track right??

I was giving it large to this tune on the dance floors of The Dome, Snobs and Liberty’s in Birmingham after first sinking a few pints of larger at 50p a pint at Central Park...
I was about 11 or 12 when I heard it first time at my older cousins house and it got me instantly into electronic music. I also loved the clip which I could watch at VIVA's "Housefrau" show with Mate Galic.
Such down to earth guys. never had any arrogance in them. Especially Rene has had a BIG influence in my career. I very well remember how Rene was putting last tweaks on the high pitched organ sound of Waterfall gheghe. Great interview!
I agree, both super nice guys! Really enjoyed listening to them and hear them share the story behind this great classic! And than you, glad you enjoyed the interview!
It’s unique alright. I’m 34 and It sounds as fresh as the day it was released. Timeless classic, it gets played wherever I go in the world and always gets me i the mood all these years on. A masterpiece, Amen 🙌🏼
A brilliant interview - thanks! I remember when this track was released in the UK as I had an acquaintance with the 3 guys who made the video for Waterfall much of it was a telecine conversion of Super-8 film footage. I have fond memories of that era. Atlantic Ocean project - thanks 😀
@@muzikxpress I was working in the television production/post-production industry in central London/SoHo in the early 90’s. 2 of the 3 guys from the production team who made the video for Waterfall had previously worked as creatives for a very well-known London/West-End advertising agency they left to start their own production company. Waterfall was one of their productions. London’s SoHo was, at that time, home to numerous television & film production & post-production companies & freelancers.
Amazing to see this. I bought the CDM as soon as it was available in Sweden, and was totally in love with this song as well as the music video. To me, this song will always be associated with dolphins. If I see a dolphin, I hear "Waterfall" inside my head.

One of my favorite dance tracks of my youth. Fast, hard, melancolic and dreamy. So unique and timeless.
Atlantic Ocean - Waterfall. So many memorable moments around early 1994. There was pure happiness on the dance floor, in the club - magic! 😍
