    None of your buddies have a better bender?
    What ever works is 👍
    Just keep going.
    That is the hardest part

      I have a buddy with a nice bender. I might sweet talk him for the main hoop at least.

    looks good! I built my baja with the affordable bender and the large radius is definitely not ideal, but you learn to get creative with your bends to make it look nice and fit well. I did the air over hydraulic conversion on mine though since I didn't want to pump that jack for days!

    • @MiahsBug
      @MiahsBug  2 місяці тому +1

      That’s good to hear. I’m glad it worked out for you. The pumping gets old and is slow but I think I can live with it for now.

    Nice work! MAN, I have to admit, I may have to cut the rear out of my bug too. Time will tell!

    • @MiahsBug
      @MiahsBug  2 місяці тому +1

      Once I realized how much I would need to cut for the Honda engine and all the separate holes for tube I made the decision. I also would like the body to be removable.

    When complete will it be heavier or lighter then a full tube chassis? Also will it be stronger or weaker then a full tube chassis?

    • @MiahsBug
      @MiahsBug  Місяць тому

      It is interesting to build this way. Technically the pan is just a skid plate (not even a good one). It’s being designed as a tube chassis. It will be slightly heavier than a full tube chassis but maintain the pan for legal purposes. The original tunnel is being used as part of the primary structure.

    There is no torsional strength between the rear and front suspension.

      That’s right. This is Episode 1 of the full chassis. Many more tubes coming. Thanks for watching
