I was raised in evangelical churches that were very pro-Israel, and extremely focused on 'Bible prophecy'. I think it is important to be able to disassociate Zionism from Judaism and Jewish identity. I find Zionism to be inherently racist and no different from Manifest Destiny. Learning about Sephardic and Mizrahi communities also opened my eyes to the complexity of what it means to be Jewish.
