As an orthodox jew. I support the creation of a free and independent Palestinian state. This will end all the violence. As Jews we need to accept that Israel is the occupying force and we need to do the right thing and give Palestinians their own independent state free from Israeli interferences. Actually the Palestinian constitution says it will not accept a Jewish state and it seeks to destroy Israel. That's a genocidal foundation for the Palestinian state. They dropped the insistence on using armed means in 1996. Creating international news stories to make people hate Israel by refusing to let refugees leave, or putting women and children in military targets, seems to be their new strategy for achieving their constitutional goals. The world would be greatly improved if we all aimed for peace for all.

I met him together with his family around 15 years ago to stay for a Sabbath.
From the way he spoke and prayed, it was clear he was truly G-d fearing and kind.
He let someone live in his house for free for months! And his whole family was so used to guests coming and sleeping in their house without prior reservation - of course for no charge!
(I did contact them beforehand to stay for the Sabbath 😅)
His wife is a descendant of a big rabbi, and I still marvel at her uprightness and faith, thinking back... 🥺

I think Jewish people who agree with this statement, should stand up and show to the world their opposition to the Zionism, loudly enough to be really heard by most people who think that Israel is the country of the Jew. Some of them fear the Sionism so they keep low profile. I found out about Rabbi Feldman about maybe 2 years ago at most. I had never heard a Jew, especially a Rabbi speak about the state of Israel like this, and honestly it was refreshing to hear his take. I feel sorry for all the people who died on both sides because of this occupation. People on both sides literally inherited a war essentially. People fighting were not adults when nakba happened.
I hope that in time there can be peace, and they can learn to live together. I'm not Muslim nor am I Jewish, but I still consider these people to be my brothers, and I don't want to see my brothers fighting each other. This occupation of Palestine must come to an end, enough is enough.
