Great short video, thank you! You also mention that the increase in size is Command-= now instead of the intuitive Command-+. I had to search some time to find this new key combination. Why would Apple do that?
Thanks so much. Command & = and Command & + are really the same shortcut.... strangely it has always been - & = because + on most keyboards requires pressing SHIFT as well. Anyway.. basically the same.
Thanks for this tip. As soon as I started the video I found the pace too fast and had to set the play speed to 0.75 to be able to follow your voiceover. I can relate this scrolling timeline feature in GarageBand. At the present moment in time, my iMac is still on Mojave and I am not having the latest version of FCPX. Can you briefly explain the advantages of having this feature?
Yo are most welcome! I will definitely work on the speed things. Thanks again for watching. The advantage here is that you can follow and see upcoming edits or complex layers in the timeline as well as on screen... information is power, so this will definitely help some improve their edit flows.
Thank you very much for your videos, you explain things very well. I have a question that I haven't found an answer to. So, some of my audio clips, under the timeline appear quite far below the timeline. When this happens, I have to scroll down, in order to see that clip. Butt then I can't see the timeline as it's now too far above to see. And so, how to tighten up the audio clips below so that they are right below the timeline. I sure hope you understand my question. Thanks.
How do I remove this option? It is no longer in my settings and I am using the updated version. Now, it will scroll no matter what I do, and the settings have removed any mention of it.
