Awesome video. Always great to take a trip down Lemon Demon memory lane, and to hear the experiences of other lemon demon old heads. Loved your perspective on Neil's early music. I always felt a bit embarrased back then, trying to introduce people to Lemon Demon, because Neil's voice was weird and the tracks were poorly mixed, but it was never about those things. It was the soul, the DIY spirit, the ambition and ideas that so enraptured me. It's beautiful to see people still embracing the old albums, even with Neil's newer highly polished work. As others have pointed out, Neil dropped some future track snippets on his patreon a while back. I don't think Spirit Phone is the last we've heard of the Lemon Demon, but I've also settled into being satisfied with what we've got for however long it may take. Spirit Phone is an incredible jewel in all of Neil's work, and it's wonderful just to have in my life.

Hghrggh I'm gonna have to listen to so many songs when I'm done with this video. Every time I remember particular Lemon Demon songs, I have to go listen to them on loop.
didn't expect them to be here but there's also some really weird lost media type songs in his discography that are perhaps better left that way (but still available) such as birdfucker
Birdfucker was originally a grapes and sunshine song. People found it and told Neil, “hey there’s this song under a person going by grapes and sunshine and it sounds like you.” Eventually Neil said grapes and sunshine was him because a lot of kids had gotten into lemon demon and he felt birdfucker would be too graphic for a child. So birdfucker is now under lemon demon, and grapes and sunshine hasn’t released anything in a while. (If I got anything wrong please tell me) :)

with clown circus it would definitely be a notable thing to mention that the first ever lemon demon song wasnt lemon demon (the song)
it was dont be like the sun as it was the first published online under the lemon demon name
and as for lfthcs, i wish mr wolfgang, destructo, switzerland and mold en mono was touched on at least a bit (theyre some of my top favs)
esp destructo as it has reference to the album name
and mold en mono being a reference to the song lemon demon from CC, being the 2nd to last song (instead of being the 2nd song in CC) and being an anagram of lemon demon (although neil has stated that he forgot one of the e's in it)
and not a song i care about as much but im not sure if one weird tip was brought up? since its one of the best known unreleased/non album tracks
idk if these were too niche to mention but i wanted to mention it somewhere, i hope its not too much
This video is incredibly well made aswell as detailed and you can really tell how much work and effort was put into this. Thank you for making this video for all of us.
Neil released a bunch of LD snippets a few months ago, so LD's still very much alive.
You forgot about funkytown!!
i literally love this and will redirect my friends and pals here whenever I try to explain why lemon demon is so fantastic
This is an amazing video. And if I had a nickel for every UA-camr I discovered on accident that had very similar music and media taste and was a also Homestuck I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but jan Misali is in this comment section.
Anyways as I am legally and morally obligated to I am now going to beg you to listen to The Scary Jokes. They’re a similarly beep boopy artist who is also with needlejuice and i will never stop recommending it.
Of course Neil is a TMBG fan, ever since I first listened to his music I could sense the influence.
How have i literallt never seen this video before. Ive been subscribed to you since the early fnf era and i funking love lemon demon. Pretty cool
I LOVE NEIL CICIEREGA AND LEMON DEMON AAH
Finally, a video that puts all my complex random reasons for loving lemon demon into words in an entertaining way. You did an absolutely awesome job untangling this radical mess of a man's musical project. Good job :D
this video singlehandedly brought my lemon demon era back because he likes sam and max
my life is so full of whimsy bc of lemon demon neil cicierega
proud to be born right in time for neil's music to get good
Just remember: you gotta stay the hell out of funkytown
Wow, this was such a great video. I loved the philosophy moments.
Dude this video deserves so many more views
thank you for your contribution to my hyperfixation Mr. McLovin. i will now proceed to consume this entire video at least three times.
BRUH HOW THIS ONLY 700 VIEW WTF MAN THIS DESERVES MUCH MORE
Hghrggh I'm gonna have to listen to so many songs when I'm done with this video. Every time I remember particular Lemon Demon songs, I have to go listen to them on loop.
oh god yes one of my favorite artists
didn't expect them to be here but there's also some really weird lost media type songs in his discography that are perhaps better left that way (but still available) such as birdfucker
The fact you brought up Damn Skippee and didnt bring up the masterpiece that is Pumpkin Pie is a travesty
i love lemon demon
this is the video that will put you in the map.
2013 was the actual first year without lemon demon because of brodyquest
I've never really listen to LemonDemon, nor have I watch your videos before. But here I am... This is a really good video! I love these types of videos where it talks about certain things, and even heating your backstory is fun to hear man. Really love this.
Have you given lemon demon a try at all?
Incredible video! The first philosophical moment spoke to me on a spiritual level.
