- MERNATION SILICONE MERMAID TAIL REVIEW || Should you get a silicone mermaid tail from Mernation? Is Mernation a legit company? Are their tails STILL high quality? 🤐 I recently purchased a NEW silicone mermaid tail with a dorsal fin AND lots of other fins too. This is the second tail I have purchased from Mernation Inc. My first tail, Sparda, was purchased in 2016. This new one (Rebellion) has been purchased in the ever-so-lovely year of 2020.
This video will dive into the differences and similarities of my two silicone mermaid tails and how Mernation has changed over the years. Furthermore, it will discuss my ordering experience, the quality of the tail and the fit/ functionality of my new silicone mermaid tail.

Do you get foot cramps in the Finis Shooter? I was holding out for a Mertailor Spellbound, but those won't be available for a while and seem that they will be fancier and pricier. I'm thinking of going with mernation, even though they don't have all silicone for the monofin/fluke.
I don't! But, I also do not get foot cramps very often (and my feet are very bendy). Personally, I find the shooter very comfortable! :)

I have swam in a fabric tail before but it was a long time ago😂 I really really want a silicone tail. If I end up getting a silicone tail (because I’m still growing) should I get a size a little bigger than my measurements? So I can grow and still fit into it?
I do not suggest getting a silicone mermaid tail until you are fully grown, since sometimes our bodies can grow in ways that we can't predict (nor can tail makers) when we are still developing. That up to you and your parents, of course, but I advise against going for silicone until you know you won't outgrow the tail you've become so attached to. :(
That said, neoprene tails could be a great alternative until you are done growing! They look very realistic and offer more stretch for growing! :)

I'm not really sure yet! Normally I film them at home, since it is easier to set up all of my gear and since there aren't so many people listening to me talk to myself! Hehehe! I get a *little* nervous when people watch me sometimes! But it is nice to change up the background occasionally too... so I will likely film most videos at home, but there will be some filmed at the beach again when possible 😇💙
