Katara's actor needs to step up. She was a bit stiff and sometimes deliver lines awkwardly. Azula needs to sound more sadistic and powerful. Aang also needs a bit if work. Rest of the cast are great, especially Zuko and Sokka. Can't wait who they're casting as Toph.

I was cutting apples in my kitchen while my mother was watching the Netflix original. I didn't dare look at the screen because I thought the experience would be too awkward but the way zukos actor was delivering the lines, I just knew it was him. He really did an amazing job!!!

I quite like how Katara looked in 2010 movie. And her costume looks great: the necklace, robe, hair all feel natural. The netflix version Katara looks cosplayish, and her acting is painful to watch. But at least netflix got most of its cast right.

The Netflix show may not be as amazing as the original animated series, but for a live action adaptation, it was DEFINITELY a HUGE improvement over the M. Night Shyamalan movie.

Aang - the actor looked like he came straight out of the cartoon, too bad he had to deal with a shitty script and was bullied after. And yes i know he is not asian per se but he definitely looked the part
Princess Yue - She was just so beautiful and fitting
(only kinda) Princess Azula - while the acting was very off, her body physique resembled more azula but she didn't looked east asian. I do like new azula and i don't mind her looking a little different but they toned down her personality, at least for now, i don't like it

Btw the way he pronounced it in the movie, is actually the correct way to say it and some other countries in the dubbed versions pronounce it just like that. So just because it is pronounced with an american accent in the series doesn't make it right. It's like how the american accent butchers foreign names, when they dub things for an american audience, then they also don't care how it is actually pronounced..

It's a good thing they were put in the Earth Kingdom (Omashu at least) since the ones from Basing Se looks like Chinese (basically there is a huge possibilty that there is more than one ethnicity for the Earth Kingdom and was just unified under one nation, like United States for Asians besides the Japanese since they are Fire Nation)
