Not sure if the move at 6:04 where the Sensor arrives to the top right is a proper diagonal move. And similarly the opposite move at 6:45. It's a great little game. I think I slightly prefer Food Chain Island but both are a lot of fun.
I was waiting for your playthrough of this one. I'm quite a bit lazy to learn rules myself nowadays so your playthroughs are always a perfect way for me to get into a game. :)
Eyy glad to be of service!!! Just make sure to check back for the description notes a few days in if you don't already, bc I inevitably always seem to miss a rule or two… 😅
Love this puzzley little game. One rules note: when you finish drawing from the deck, just flip over the discard pile and draw new cards. Do not shuffle.
Took me awhile to get to watch this video, just busy. I really enjoy what Button Shy does. This one here…hmmm. Just not sure. Games like Maiden in the Forest and Food Chain immediately appealed to me. Appreciate the play through Tia. 👍
You are very good at teaching and clarifying games. My attempts at trying to get to grips with this game have just taken a big step forwards. Thanks! 👍👍
The last card you moved to complete the Jump (second mission) was moved as a chess knight instead of in diagonal. same error when moving the same card to undo the Jump.
@@tabletoptokki I apologize, I did not read it. A suggestion: Rahdo ua-cam.com/users/rahdo uses the subtitles in the Klingon language to indicate his mistakes.
This one hurt my head when I initially tried it. You gave me some clarity on this. I'll still probably try it again and have another headache 🤕 but that says more about me than your playthrough. Nice work Tia👍
Like you, this game didn't really appeal to me initially, but watching your playthrough actually makes me think I really would like the puzzle this game offers! Great video!
Hi Tia, been a while since I have watched through a bunch of your content. Hope you are doing good. I am sure you are often a winner with these micro games. Thanks for making me want another! 🤣
Ah, that would be a cool variant to increase the difficulty! Since the rules state "before or after any move" and moves are referenced throughout the rules in singular form (i.e. not as a group item per movement points on the card) it would seem that they /can/ be activated between moves of a particular card's movement points. 🙂
@@tabletoptokki Shift = only move 1 module, you slid two. Question: if I use 3 energy card for 2 movement to complete the pattern, do I keep the 1 remaining energy for the next turn or is all remaining energy lost?

...you are correct! Have I mentioned I'm bad at spatial reasoning? 😅

Ah yes; thank you for the reminder! Old habits… 😅
This review makes the game more interesting.
Good to hear! As I said, this one didn't scream out as a "must have" when it was released, but it's def worth a look if you enjoy puzzly games. 😊

No problem-o! This one doesnt have onstant-appeal, but the mechanics are quite satisfying, for me at least. ^^
Great, another Button Shy game I need to get. I like to keep a list for add-ons to the next KSer.
… aaaaand don't forget the expansion! 🤭

Eyyy glad to hear! Yeah, for some reason even though the rules are written "correctly", it wasnt super intuitive on a first read. 😅

This one looks like a lot of fun, I really like thinky puzzly things like this.
Eyyy, same! The mini expansion is also really fun too! 😄

Yep; noted in the description!

It took me a bit to wrap my mind around as well, but now that I've got the hang of it; super fun! 😄

Yes! It's hard to go wrong with Button Shy as well since their games have such a small footprint. ^^

Hope you're doing well as well Jonathan!
It'd be more impressive if I didn't accidentally cheat so much… 🥺😂
I was hoping you would cover ROVE - thanks!!
Ofc! Always down for suggestions for other games you'd like to see on the channel too! 😊
Awesome video as always Tia. Close victory! Neat game being only 18 cards.
Yes! Love how much crunch there is in such a small package! ^^
Thanks for the run through. It was helpful. I got the game at Pax Unplugged. 😁
Glad to hear it! Congrats on your acquisition; enjoy! :)
@@tabletoptokki Got it first try I think! Wahoo! Thanks again for the help.
@@derickkopff1314 Eyyyy better than me! Glad you're enjoying the game. ^^
I was playing more strictly: I only activate the power before or after completing all movement.

5:00 I built the pnp but wonder why you flip over the module to its red side. Why you do that and when you do that?
When you use a module ability, you flip it to it's deactivated side. Hope this helps! :)

At 6:00 it's an illegal play, no? The first diagonal is ok, but the second is squished, it should have gone one more square up. Did I misunderstand?
Yep, noted in the description! :)
interesting...
Hmm, not familiar with this one. Was it kickstarted?
Also, I really dig how the missions build a panorama…neat!
No KS for this one, but same on the panorama! ^^
If u have to choose... Food chain island or rove??
Oooh I love both, but probably ROVE! 😊
@@tabletoptokki tks. Shall heed ur advice and go with rove. See how it goes
