I did the same with my daughter when she graduated HS in 2019 😊 Went to London, Paris, and Rome! now it's time to go back with my husband this time, and I need some packing tips as we are planning to take carry ons only😅😅. I'm also eyeing that Level 8 luggage. thank you for your tips and reviews!
Nice travel advise. I went to Spain and Southern France too with just a carry-on, no check-in. I’ve subscribed and waiting to see more videos from you 😊. I always travel light and easy around the globe.
@Katrina Nope they never weight your carry on bag. These European airlines are only concerned that your hand carry bags complies with their strict regulation on allowed bag sizes.
@@DQ_Mine No, they didn't. My bags have not been checked for weight but definitely size. There is one bag I had that was supposed "carry-on" size. But one airline took it and another said no way!
Someone else made a comment about weight. I’ll weigh next time just to see but no, I didn’t have to check it in. And I was able to lift it into the bin. My laptop is the heaviest item. I take it out before lifting it into the bin.
Good information. We are traveling in june with our teenager. So between us 3, we thought we would take 2 check in bags. Wondering how hard it is to lug it into trains? We've 2 train changes once there barcelona to seville and from there to madrid. Also, any tips related to restrooms? Do we need to carry toiletries?
Tide sells travel-size liquid detergent that I’ve used. The only problem is that they’ve been punctured. Good thing I’ve kept them in Ziplocs. I was experimenting with non-liquid so it doesn’t take up space for other liquids.
Since it's a new channel, I had to get verified from UA-cam for external links. Thanks for the comment because it reminded me to check! It's all good now. The links are in the description.
Why oh why domyoutubers never say how much their bag weighed? I now limit my carryon suitcase to 25 pounds and my personal to 13 pounds. Makes for an easier trip.
@@SimplyCherieTravels I understand not worrying about the weight because it is a carry on and not checked. But what I think about is having to lift it into the overhead bin, in and out of cars, buses, shuttles, trains, stairs. I have limited my carry on to less than 25 pounds, and my personal to less than 13 pounds. It makes the whole travel experience so much easier.

What a great gift you gave her! We’re planning a trip to Iceland just hubby and me. But next year. I definitely recommend Level8.

You are so welcome!
Thanks for the tips. Just ordered the smart bag toiletries bags. Medium and large.
Oh nice. I’m sure the large will carry a lot. Enjoy!

Thanks for the sub! I subbed back. I have learned from the times I didn't travel light.
@@SimplyCherieTravels let's grow our channel together 😃
Did they weigh it?

Loved your video. How much did your suitcase weigh? Although you brought a carry on did you have to check it in?

I almost always forget to pack cough drops lol Great vid
haha I have them in my purse and car, too. Thanks for watching!

Did you check your bag this time? The only reason I asked was because of your toiletry bag -- liquids were not in separate bag.
The different airports I flew through did not require a separate liquids bag. Not sure why. So this was a carry-on.
Were there elevators at your hotel? If not how many flights of stairs did you have to climb? (Son is going in 2 wks)
Wonder if laundry detergent in a tsa approved sized liquid container would work

Thank you very good tips!
I never fly without cough drops either!
🙌🏼 Yes! The air is dry. And now it's illegal to cough on a plane 😉
Can’t find any links for the items used.

When did you fly? 1022 or 2023?
2022

I never thought of weighing it because it's a carry on, and I know I can put it in the overhead bin. Maybe I'll weight it next time just to know.
@The Organized Travel Coach I heard they are weighing carry on bags now. I'm going to Europe, and I've heard they are strict.

@@DQ_Mine Hey, let us know if they end up weighing your carry on.
When we have flown in Japan (domestic) over the past few years, they have weighed our carry-ons.
