As a casual p1999 player, I played with the Fabbe's UI for most of a decade on a CRT for nostalgia. Thank you very much for this gift to the community :)
Played around with the UI all afternoon worked like a charm. Thanks for this! really cool. 👍 It's a shame that I cannot seem to alter the color of general/NPC text from white - which is kinda hard to read on the parchment. But that's a problem with the game not the UI.
Drumas is a really cool dude! He spent several hours with me last night deep in the Hole helping me with an epic fight. 10 out of 10 cleric and good dude
Very nice but I do like the other version for practical reasons such as having the effects window built in as well as making use of the additional hotbuttons and having a larger play field. I would like to be able to use the art for the bars though. I think I may try to photoshop the new bars into the old version so I can get those while still having the utility of 1.0 since the "sekinventory" TGA's are laid out differently.
Does the UI cover the gamescreen or does it display a smaller resolution window? If it's the latter, Is there a way to have the chat bar above the game screen?
The 4:3 version has black bars one the sides but the 16:9 covers the full screen. Both use the /viewport so only the visible game area is playable. You can always create new chat windows by right clicking on one > New chat window
@@AetCount Thanks for the reply. If I just load the UI without using the preset, I would have to arrange the UI elements to appear as shown in the video right?
Yeah, I made it. I am flattered that you want to do a video about it and since i'm subbed to you, I'll be glad to watch it!. Edit: I would recommend the 16:9 version. The 4:3 one is just too small.
Just updated it to fix a small bug in the tradewindow. Updated the links to reflect it. One of the trade slots was duplicated and showed the same item in 2 places
This should be default UI green 2.0.
Chad move,thanks so much

Absolutely genius
this is a piece of art and i love it
Pretty killer UI you got there.
Fun to see, and very nostalgic, but I would never in my life *choose* to use this UI ever again.
This is possibly the coolest thing that i'll never try.
Actually looks awesome
I want to try

I’d love to see character creation and selection with the old UI too
When I saw EC I paused (at 3:10) to see if Drumas was there. Did not disappoint.

Didn't work for me. Followed the readme directiosn to a T and everything was all jsut jumbled in one corner.
I'm sure you've moved on since posting this, but is there any way you'd be willing to get this working on Project Quarm?
Wow this looks good
I need help with using this interface pleaseeee
looks great
Is it possible to use this on a 4k monitor?
Why not allow the classic inventory in the wide screen mode?
There was a problem. The classic inventory includes the sidebars and it would look awful when you can see it pop on top of everything else

@@TuneIntoSando Correct. They would be in random positions and you'd have to place them by hand where they belong
Can't see my character in the inventory screen, what a shame. Spot on otherwise. Very nice!
very nice!
This is amazing. Is it all your work? I want to do an install video and a let's play in it if that's ok with you.
