Since some of the footage was lost I wanna explain what happened to the Pzbtl/Leopard 2A4 with nets. There were 2 tanks focusing on it, an M4 Sherman and a T-34 57 it was killed on the move by an M4 through the cupola, only reason I know this is because I was the M4 player, I didn't die the whole round since I was just sniping from afar trying to get a lucky shot. I got pretty sad when that insane shot didn't get in the video.
That of course sucks to hear that it didn't get into the video, especially because these shots are rather rare and surprising. Would have loved to see that but maybe they overlooked your clip or you're just to good for them 😉
This was a cool one to see. May I suggest a few? Bradley vs Stuarts+Chaffee. Both were lighter AFV used by the US to compliment their heavier tanks. The Bradley does have an autocannon that can penetrate both frontally and have ATGMs. Bradley vs Sherman: Here the Bradley will have a harder time potentially. The APDS will likely have trouble with the Frontal armor of the Sherman but the Dart round would likely make it through save for the Jumbo variant. All American Sherman’s do have short stabilizers that will allow them to potentially shoot first if cruising at low speeds. Unlike other WW2 vs Modern fights, this one would be a more even match like the Marder battle. BMP-1 + PT-76 vs WW2 USSR light tanks: This would be a relatively even match up as well. Only the PT-76 has a stabilizer and the HEAT rounds that may not reliably overpressure some of the more armored tanks like the T-50. The WW2 also have the benefit of APHE and high mobility which may mean that they could have an advantage over their Cold War counterparts. I think the PT-76 will be better than the BMP in this battle since it has access to APHE and a stabilizer.

I feel like depriving the MBT of most of the features that make it a modern tank (Laser range finder, thermal, missiles) makes it feel neutered. They still have the advantage of stabilizer, power gun, and impervious frontal armor with thick sides, but I personally would have liked if they could use every tool at their disposal, but it is what the patrons have decreed. I feel like a T-55 or and other later variants of the T-54 would have done better since they have a stabilizer and a powerful APHE round that would easily penetrate the T-34 and Sherman, and one shot them.

Before the final round I was actually thinking "Why is no one using HESH? It should instakill any vehicle they are fighting as long as they hit." Then my boi rolled up in a Chally and really showed them the power of BESH!
really suprised there wasnt any base model M1s or more challengers as they would've been ideal for these tank hoards with their 5 sec reloads, hell really really suprised no Type 90/10s showed up with even their shorter reloads.
The Challengers I can under stand why most people wouldn't take them given the choice. Their LFP(lower front plate) is massive and only 80mm of RHA, easily pennable by their opponents and with APHE a guaranteed one shot. Even the TES with it's extra armour on the LFP could still be vulnerable. Spoilers: In fact it looks like that's how the TES in the video died, a random shell to the LFP got through and instantly dead.

True, and they still won! I read some comments from the WW2 side, they went with an ‘artillery’ strategy where they would leave some guys in the back to be uncontested and snipe from a far. Looking to hit tracks, barrels, and maybe a kill.
I feel like the MBTs in Poland could done better if that got to the C cap area but I guess they couldn’t leave there spawn. Also having less armor MBTs like the Leopard 1s and XM1 was bad. But good on the T80s and some other MBTs that did well

M4 firefly have more penetration then a normal M4 Sherman now because of it’s 90mm gun and with multiple shoot at onetime same spot the tank will explode even though it have thick armour
The moderna is not the best choice, the best voice would have been M1A2 SEP, since it’s reload is 6 seconds. The T-72M2 has worse mobility and armor than the bvm, and the T-72 has a 7.1 second autoloader (it Sucks), 600 milliseconds make a huge difference, trust me.
Sherman 75 mm taking out a modern Main, BS. Also stop the neutering. In the open field the MOdern Mains would be taking out the antiques from a distance. Also no use of smoke is an issue as well.

Games down play the challenger 2 so much when in fact its one of best or even the best Mordern MBT out there , after WW2 Britain never wanted to be in situation again with basicaly rubbish tanks , since the cheiftain and centurion Britain has had tanks that are in the top 3 and dare i say the number one tanks on the battlefields. This game is so unrealistic. I am a former tanker. Track repair takes a good 10 minutes even with the best crew. If you are tracked in a high intensity combat area, you don't repair - you bail, but quick. Furthermore, the mobility of tanks is vastly overdone in this game. Tanks don't move like this at all. They usually move slower, more deliberately, and do not handle uneven ground or obstacles anything like what is depicted in the game. Additionally, tanks cannot constantly fire round after round after round. After about 8 rounds, a pause must happen to remove shells inside the tank. This can take about half a minute. If you don't do this, the loader will start becoming inefficient, with slower loads, and could trip or be injured. Tanks in real life are far less efficient than depicted here. Which is a shame, because more realism would be much more interesting. It's the main reason I don't play this game - it's cartoonizing my real experience. And I don't appreciate it.
That's cool you like realism, but seriously big part of the playerbase here just wanna play Heavy tanks without having to spend 3 months repairing it. Quick and easy, you know? I don't expect a video game to give me the most realistic vibes in any fricking scenario. If they do then that's a pretty good effort by the devs, but still ain't expecting realism cause that way i can enjoy whatever cartoonist gameplay they made.

The Iraqi crews were inexperienced. Wasn't a Chally 2 penetrated through the lower hull plate by an RPG-29?
