- War Thunder Ho-Ro gameplay in ground realistic battles.
In War Thunder Japanese low tier has a lot of fun vehicles, but Japan is not major tech tree so not many people use them.
Ho-Ro, Chi-Ha Long Gun, Chi-Ha Short Gun, and Ro-Go Experimental are probably one of my most favourite Japanese tanks. And most importantly you don't need to grind months to get them all (except Chi-Ha Short Gun, it's premium), but instead 1-2days of grinding. It's a sin not to have them. BIG GUNS BIG BOOM ;)

It's a gimmick vehicle that is very limited. It is very map dependent. It's not as good as its contemporaries but I guess it would be fun as a challenge.

I mean derp guns are only for meme but the real grinders at the same BR are the chi-he, ho-ni 1 & 2, chi-ha kai and ho-i etc.
Japanese tech tree is not bad, just not too many options at higher br's. But they have some unique cool stuff

The amount of fun i've had in the ho-ro over the years is just epic... The Long Gun, just as Epic.... you just feel the look on the faces of the enemy when they see what's pointing at 'm... you can just see them squinting, just before they go **pop**. Lovely gameplay Dollar!

I've been enjoying mid tier Japan lately. Anything with the 75 firing the the Type 4 Kou round is a blast.
It's a real shame you don't have the A.C.I Sentinel tank, I think you'd really enjoy it. The armor is nigh impenetrable at its BR.
Japan ww2 mediums are amazing . That APHE is very powerful
And I think I have Sentinel, but I haven't used it yet. Some day we'll make some memes with it ;)
@DOLLARplays I have more kills with it than any other tank. Protip, place a pair of British helmet decorations over the two little hatches on the turret cheeks. They are your frontal weak point (still 65mm) and the helmets blend in with the turret and make them less obvious.

The chi-ha short gun is my most favorite of the japanese derp gun lineup including the ho-ro I've already repented my sins since I became a casual wallet warrior.

Ho-Ro is a definition of glass cannon, guys inside can die of mosquito bites but it's cannon could take anything.

The funny thing about the 2C bis is that you can take it and go to a highter br and he will still be OP🙃 (i play it in br 5.4)

I admire how you make this tank strong
The Swedish 150mm Boi is insanely powerfull. It has some pretty good armor for the BR so quite a few vehicles won't easily kill it from the front.
The 1.0 premium tank with APDS is also insanely strong. It has 50mm of armor on the turret. A bit OP for 1.0, if you ask me 🙃

You should take out the Type 74 sometime? It's got pneumatic suspension and it gives you an excuse to bring Ho-Ro to a higher BR

Japan ground tech tree is pain but once you get pass Type 83 and go down the remarkable glass-cannon of Type 90 and 10,hooo boy
Its also fun to bring Ho-Ro into top tier since it can reliably one shot BVMs through its commander hatch.

Nice vids,my man.Reminds me of the early days of Japanese Ground RB early access.Bought Heavy Tank No.6(Japan Tiger) and that Naval Gun thingie for it.Helped me well through the tech tree.
Feel sad for newer player though,having to go through a lot of pain and misery at early tier 5 and late tier 6 nowadays.
edit:QN 506? I saw a badass player one shot Ka-50 with it from a distance(5-6 km) with its new fire and forget missiles.
Its a fun,gimmicky vehicle once you spade it,just like everything else in the game but i think 2S38 are far better as a paid vehicle or to be pedantic,BMP-2M.
QN 506 is the bane of heli cas players, once locked, the missile will know where it is.
Would be nice if Japan could get some subtree ( if there'sany options) , that would fill up the tech tree a little bit. Because they have great vehicles, I would say, but not enough of them
