- In this video, we will explore SharpTools Themes and Styles for smart home Dashboards. SharpTools Themes and Styles enable you to fine-tune the look and feel of your smart home dashboards fast and easily! You can create a Theme which is a collection of setting for dashboards and tiles including things like background colors, foreground colors, text sizes, text colors, icon animations, icon colors, shadows, borders, border colors and so much more. You can also make various Styles within the theme to make editing tiles even faster.
This is a major update and makes editing and changing the look of your SharpTools Dashboards effortlessly easy. If you are not using Themes and Styles in your current dashboards I would definitely take a look as this is the future of SharpTools Dashboard editing and styling.

Have a question. I have Fire 8, Fully Kiosk, and SharpTools set up. Everything good, but about once a day or so the screen dims down to almost dark and I have to swipe down and bring brightness back to max. I have adaptive brightness turned off, and low power turned off. Any suggestions?
I might try adaptive brightness to be on.

Great video thanks! How do you get rid of the green "command sent" icon that pops up on screen?
That is a feature of SharpTools. I don’t think there is away to disable that...
@@SimplySmart123 ok thanks. Is there a way thought to make a light group in the panel to click and control multiple lights at once? Do I have to create a virtual switch? Thanks
You can create lighting groups in the new SmartThings app and then you would have to use a virtual device that has the same controls as your lights to add to your dashboard so you can everything as a group.

I have a question that has nothing to do with this video but how do you change your app icons on a amazon tablet?
I don’t think that is possible but I have never tried it.
