I have one of those Dale - they are really useful. Mine is much smaller and you were smart to get a large size. I wish I had gotten a larger one now. Yours looks like a real nice unit.
Handy review, I've got a tiny jewellery one and done a lot of motorcycle carburettor cleans in it, yours is a much more suitable size though. Never knew you could put the parts in a bag like that 👍🏻
For cleaning small items I put those items in a wire mesh tea basket a little larger than a golf ball. I use Dawn dishwashing liquid. It's safe for all metals and painted parts and is a great degreaser.
Good video Dale, you are going love it! I got mine last year and use it all the time. I’ll have to try the zip lock bag trick, thanks for that. Sure would save a lot on chems.
Thanks David, I like that plastic bag idea also and a glass jar will work as well, Im sold , I wish I had dropped the hammer much earlier,. Have a good week.
@Dalesworkshop You will love ultrasonic cleaning. I have the cheap harbor freight one and throw almost every new to me used tool in it as the first step.
I have one of those! Great for cleaning small engine carburetors and other parts. Will not remove rust. Be careful with the cleaning solutions you use; some are not friendly to aluminum !
Hi Frank. it is a 15L. tank. no it will not take the place of evapo rust If any thing I will use it with evapo rust. It will not take rust off while cleaning unless I use a rust remover.
I have been thinking about getting one of these for years. Thanks for the review.
I think you will enjoy it, there are lot of uses for it.
