That's what someone else said. Still not sure how its used. Thanks for your help and thanks for watching.
I wanted the ping effect please
That is a cool little wrench and great job cleaning it up!
Thanks David
Cleaned up and ready for retirement. Sounds like a good life!
Hello Mr. DAwR. Nice to hear from you. Found any really cool stuff lately?
@@Dalesworkshop I'm in mudville. Went to an estate sale and got a fair price..... .....tail between the legs. Normally I walk back to the truck like a lottery winner. Fair price is something I pay when I pass the gate going to see rabbits and ferris wheels, and antique tractors.
@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals Better luck next time.
@@Dalesworkshop Have a lucky week!
i beleive thispipe wrench is called a stillson patern.
Thanks for the info Kyle, I couldn't find much information about it.
mr.dale very cool always liked those wrenches good job with the blueing
Thank you Ron. Glad you stopped by to say hello.,
Very nice Mr Dale. I've been waiting for you to clean this one up. I never see those but when i do i will own it.
It was hidden in a drawer of a tool box i picked up., It was a big surprise to find it.
@@Dalesworkshop i like surprises like that
Yea ,me too, Those are good surprises.
Great Job Mr. Dale! 👍
Thank you Big Vic.
Don't retire it too soon, I love using mine on occasions. Mine was quite dark when I found it in a haul too. Every morning when I get up and look in the mirror, I think, don't worry about the odd bit of pitting too😁. Have a good week, my friend.
Most of my tools retired when i did, but i told them that from time to time they might be called upon to preform a duty. I hear ya about looking in the mirror and seeing all that pitting, but time rolls on. You have a good week also my friend,.
Ya gotta be nuts to be interested in these kinds of videos and you’d be looking at one (me) that loves these kinds of videos. Thanks. I’d have painted the handle fire engine red to be more like the original.
I Thought about it, but most wrenches of this type are red. I wanted something a little different, I do like originality so i might consider it yet. Thanks for watching Sandy.
Nice King Dick Mr. Dale! 😁. See ya later!
Thank you George.
That little wrench is a beauty! So nicely made.
Thank you Gerald. I was lucky to find it.
Nice little wrench Dale. Good job!
Thanks Bill it is a cool wrench.
You REALLY 'put on the hits' on that wrench you magnificent B@STARD!!!
Nice job Dale!
Thank you magdad.
Turned out great ! Noce job Dale
Thank you Jeff.
Nice video.
Many many thanks beerdrinker.
Wernch! LOL!
Spelling is Key.LOL
I was at first confused by the thumbnail title. I wondered if small span was misspelled. Then when he spoke, I realized he meant Spanish. Probably it would be clearest to say Spanish-made or made in Spain. I'm not trying to bust chops, just explaining how the wording affected my understanding.
In the video, I clearly said made in Spain. I did misspell Wrench in the thumbnail. Thanks for pointing that out, Its something i will pay closer attention to in the future.
mr.dale that is a wild wrench i see you got that press working good job
Yeah Ron that is a crazy looking wrench, That press is in top shape. Have a good week.
Restored Perfect Mr. Dale!! Great find too I think
Thank you Vic, Yeah im not quite sure of the find either. But a great conversation piece.
That turned out looking pretty good. Since those wrenches were usually pretty useless, they are perfect to have in a box of oddity and novelty tools.
Oddity and Novelty tool for sure. At least i have one to brag about.
@@Dalesworkshop Definitely fun to look at!
Thats going to be a great wall hanger, the finish is spot on. Think the zip lock bags are a great idea, ive used them to soak tools in oil before, might try it with a de-rusting solution. Have a good one my friend.
I've used baggies for rust removal for awhile now. When your done soaking, just cut the corner off the baggie and drain it back into the bottle.
Hey Alex, The bag with solution works for me, especially with the ultrasonic cleaner. I think the heat from the ultrasonic helps tool. Whats the season like over there is fall coming like here,. Its not cold yet but it is starting to cool a little. Take care my friend.
@@coreyalarie8613 I open the top just a little to pore it out. I can control some of the sediment that way. thanks for watching.
@@Dalesworkshop it's raining again over here, we've had our summer now, by the looks of it! Fall is definitely on the way, I quite like it though as we normally get good weather in September 🤞🏻. Not keen on the dark nights so much.
That old Superior wrench looks great Mr Dale. Nice yard sale finds and you can't beat the price!
Thank you Ivan. And thank you for watching,
It's a masterpiece. Great work.
Thank you, It did turn out pretty good.
Nice looking wrench of an unusual design Dale. Well done!
Thank you Bill. It is a unusual wrench for sure.
That wrench came out really nice. You should try it on few different size fasteners - I'm curious about how well it actually works as a wrench.
Thank you Gerald, i will try to video using the wrench on different size nuts. I am a little curious myself.
Nice work Dale! I like the precision press work! Thanks for the video
Thank you for watching.
Nice job Dale!
Thanks Magdad.
DUDEZILLA!!! 'DA WAFFLE' AKA WAFFLE HOUSE coffee RUUUUUUUUUUULES!!! Too bad for @UWANNAWATCH because they are NOT up in NJ! That SOOOOOOOOO SUCKS for him!!!
Yeah, I am pretty sure he would like them Waffles with Pecans with saussage on the side.
Very nice.
Think you sir.
Great deals at the yard sale! The wrench was done just right.
Thanks David. That $2 drill was a awesome find. I wish i had gotten there earlier.,
Great job 👏
Thank you Patrick.
Mr. Dale that Superior came out fantastic! I agree I love that finish!
Thank you George, Hope you are having a greatr weekend. Fall is up on us.
Yes looking through old tool 🔧 boxes is a look at the past of all different types of tools and the names of tools.
I love looking through old tool boxes and find the stuff at estate sales. You never know what you will find.
The bend gone! You have a good eye for that. Great job
Thanks DAwR. You had any good finds lately?
@@Dalesworkshop Naaa. I've been away, Warden said not even with good behavior. Today was nothing...it is a sunny Saturday but I believe people have the bug to be outside and the estate sale season is winding down. Not sure. Even ReStore has been slim pickings. But I have had a ton of good finds this year. I guess the Greek God of tools is telling me to stay home and clean up. ....easier said than done. Have a fantastic weekend. PS I've got my eye on the Pennsylvania show next ....May...is it?
@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals Me Too, i thought about this fall but i'm thinking May.
@@Dalesworkshop ..I didn't want to put it off...I was thinking fall as well but I have so much cleaning and patching and painting to do.....I should crack a whip and get something done. ...."should".
@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals Hope to see you there this spring.
Great stuff! 😃👍
Thank you Sir.
Some very cool finds there Dale-nice haul!
Thank you sir, It was a good time for sure.
Thank you for sharing Mr. Dale I love watching your restoration videos. I’m currently restoring another 3/8s Snap On ratchet and I found an old pair of Fuller made in Japan pliers that deserve another chance at life also. I’d made videos of my restorations but I’m not good with computers I could never figure out how to make a video LOL. Keep up the good work God Bless
Thanks for those kind words Bidchad. I too am not good with computers but i have a son and daughter that is. I would love to see your restorations and i hope you can get help to do your videos. UA-cam have lots of videos to help you get started in posting videos. Good luck buddy i am looking forward to seeing your videos.
Really nice finds. Like you I have never seen a self adjusting wrench like that. I can't wait to see what you do with it.
I'm just going to clean it up i think. I did have fun with this tool haul.
what is important is the condition of the jaws's gripteeth ' a pipe wrench is meant to deform under load
True, i just don't like the flaw. It is going to be a great looking wrench when i finish with it even with the flaw. I just wish it wasn't there. I'll probably never find a replacement part but you never know. Thanks for watching.
'Cool' !
Yeah Cool!
Wow, Dale, you made out well! You got a lot of cool tools. I remember Citizens Bank in Michigan as a kid.
I did get a lot of stuff between my last two tool hauls. I am looking forward to restoring them. I may try to increase my videos to two a week. Take care.
ua-cam.com/video/bPx-rUe94SY/v-deo.htmlsi=hO1AJQmovsjI-poA This is a bigger Lake Superior wrench that I did.
Thanks for the video Rob. Mine seemed to only say Superior Wrench. I did read where there were others Named Lake Superior wrench. There dosen't seem to be any differance.
Really nice haul Dale. Lots of goodies there. The pliers with the 'loop' on the end is probably for installing/removing hoses. I have watched @mustie1 use them many times when working on engines, carburetors, etc. That Kennedy toolbox might make a good restoration video.
Thanks Bill, I'll have to figure out how to use the Hose pliers,. I will restore the box , not sure yet how to go about it. There is a lot of rust and it has eaten through. The old saying is if there is a will there is a way,
Hey Dale, the Stanley hammer will look good with a clean up. The self adjusting wrench is an interesting thing indeed, also like that staple remover, you did well with that haul👍🏻
This sale was a lot of fun, and the bounty was pretty good. I have several videos in that pile. You are the second person to like the staple puller. It was a little differend kind of puller, Thanks Alex and take care.
I think you need to make it a drinking game!!! Everytime you say 'COOL', viewer need to take a swig of thier favorite adult beverage! People would be PLASTERED before they knew it!!
And then i could persuade them all to subscribe to my channel.,Thats a great idea Andy and very funny too. Wait a minute is that what you did?
And Cool it was!! The stanley 1299 is sweet and of course that 🧙♂️ breaker bar 🤠👍
Thanks for stopping by That wizard has your name on it.
Nice haul Dale! Those Craftsman sockets must have been in that vinyl zipper case . Thanks for sharing
Probably they fell out, thank for watching,
