You need to watch some other videos first. The side panels pop off from the bottom- then you would not have cracked it. the top panel pops off from the back.
I had this dash apart a few months ago. I thought I remembered correctly. Obviously I did not. The video I saw said the side panels just popped off any where. I will try from the bottom next time. I explain in the video that I messed up the top and decided to leave my struggle in the video so others can learn from my mistakes. I appreciate your comment and will use your tips next time

It's easier if you start removing from the bottom. And the speaker cover from the top.
