They really love voltes-v. When i was there back in the 90s when it was reaired everyone was talking about it. Even the mainstream media from different tv stations were talking about it. There's a philippine historical connotation that got itself attached to this series. Apparently when voltes-v first aired back in the 70s it was cancelled due to the strict implementation of no none-approved tv shows by the martial law government to be aired. It was reaired in the late 90s by gma and redubbed in filipino instead of the english dub. By that time those kids who lived through the martial law were young adults and by now many even have grandkids they could enjoy watching with.

I'm actually glad that they are exploring Zardoz and Zandra's love story, the same with Steve and Jamie. Watching it as a young kid, I have always thought about their stories. Ngayon, meron nang closure so okay lang kung may romance, which is part naman of any story.
Exactly! Even so, shipper man ako or hindi, ayos lang naman basta hindi masasacrifice ung independence and strength ng bawat character (esp the women) at hindi malihis ung story. Remake naman 'to after all (hindi naman copy paste), and parang lumalim ung characters para sa'kin even more. There may never be romance in the anime, but it does not mean it was impossible to happen of-screen at least either.
If you are a true fan there is no love interest between steve and jaime its always mark. And about zardos sa bandang hule lang na open ang pagtingin ni zandra sa kanya.

This is the first largest CGI show here in the Philippines. I hope Filipinos will support this as we are still in the process of improving the quality of our film industries.
Because tohei is also with them of course it will help to enhance the quality
Iconic talaga yung butterfly return. Grabe worth it yung paghihintay kasi tinapos talaga nila yung filming until last episode before ipapalabas to sa tv.
Thank you for your translation. Our greatest gratitude.

This is Philippine made.

@@thetvversiontwo9318 fixed it. Thanks
To our fellow japanese...
We Filipinos grew up loving Voltes V, and this is our response for the love of this Mecha..
Many of us have goosebumps when we saw the trailer, as for me I cried the first time I saw it myself...
Mixed emotions, my childhood and nostalgia all everything came back to me...
It was introduced on "yahoo JP" and movie-sites in Japan.
(from JP)
It sucks tbh. Bad animation

BOOTLEG
😭🇯🇵🤝🇵🇭
As a Filipino, Voltes V is my childhood anime. I grew up watching it and loving it! Like japanese people on this comment section, I couldnt wait to watch this much awaited "legacy" thanks to GMA and TOEI for making the live-action possible for us.
ME: Yung graphic concept halos close na sa Tokusatsu Series. Ok na.
New announcement, voltes v’s pilot episodes will be shown in SM cinemas in the Philippines from April 19 to 24
its will be air in japan also too it my be a week delay but it will be air i think it will be air weekly not everyday.
dont worry my japanese friend it will be air in japan.
next mission of Philippines is Gundam and Daimos
@@yunnayun9367 It might be DORAEMON
Mix emotions. May puso talaga sila for pinoy
even the first beast fighter enemy in this one is actually the first beast fighter in the anime.. that shows respect to the original series indeed..
