Doing the lords work by actually putting in the sections so we can look through the process and watch the areas we know are pain points in our own process. 10/10 Thank you
Love this! I feel like I'm constantly learning new things smh. Also love that you showed it was possible to do this with basic tools! Shouldn't let that stop you from making killer designs! You deserve more followers and likes!
THANK YOU!! I just used a lot of your tips to make a simple logo for a personal project and I love how it turned out! It's exactly the look I wanted but didn't know how to achieve it
The line rounding with the pencil tool is such a good tip (especially if you set ALT to be the smooth tool as well). Takes a little getting used to, to be able to hit the path lines precisely but top notch.
Yeah it helps me out a ton pretty much every day. I agree that it takes some getting used to. I definitely miss the target on every 1 out of 10 attempts lol
When I use my pencil tool over the pen tool line, it doesnt adjust or recreate the line like yours does. Is there a way to fix this in settings somewhere? I have Adobe 2023.

Great video man, been using illustrator for a while but some of these ways to solve it were unknown to me. Cheers!
Thank you! I try my best to provide some stuff for beginners and pros!
Nick love your channel brother! What canvas size do you use to post to Instagram?
I usually draw on a 6x6" artboard in Illustrator because I like how the line weight looks in proportion when I use 3pt strokes
Awesome!
Thank you!
When I use my pencil tool over the pen tool line, it doesnt adjust or recreate the line like yours does. Is there a way to fix this in settings somewhere? I have Adobe 2023.
it should work by default. maybe zoom out a little so that you don't have to be super precise over the line. that could possibly help
@@nickqtv Mine is also not working the way yours does. It adds a new path on top of the existing one instead of actually editing what is there.
Hey Nick! Great share. Do the DPI settings matter in your PS doc you opened?
Good question. I would def do it at 300 dpi just to have as much control on the quality as possible
Cool tutorial! That font is pretty neat. Is it yours? I didn't see it in the shop.
Thanks I really appreciate it! It is one of mine, here's the direct link www.nickqart.com/fonts/texicali-reverse-contrast-font
It doesnt matter wich brush im using with my wacom pen, brushes are so transparent. Why is this happening?
Check your appearance panel. Sometimes it’s set to retain the settings for new brush strokes and it could be messing you up. I’ll do some research!
I did not understand how he cut the shape using the pencil tool.
What do you mean by “cut the shape”
I skipped to the comparison so i wouldn't be tainted by bias and they look the same to the untrained eye.
It's definitely subtle here but the process let's you choose how much you want to stylize your own project

Heck yeah!
