Ok I have to say it's pretty funny that you though the filet o fish was bland when you left off one of the main flavor components. Love the channel though!
It shouldn't need tartar sauce... Lol if it needs a condiment it's bland by definition
"Can I have a Filet O Fish minus tarter?"
Yes that will be $24 dollars please pull around
So true, haha.
Love your channel but I don’t know what is worse: the fact that you never had a McDonalds fish filet sandwich before or the fact that you got it without tartar sauce
The tartar sauce is definitely the best part of that sandwich. Without it, it’s really just bread.
Always a good day when Brendan posts 💯
Always love when you bring the siblings in for taste testing.
Sometimes I like my own comment just to get the ball rolling
And it's working😂
I do that with my fishing lures the hospital trip is worth it
I really liked fillet O fish but now thanks to Brendan I am going to start making more of my own fish sandwiches. Thanks my man from California.
Just started fishing. Been really enjoying yer videos. First one I found was you and yer brother using rocks and wood as lures. Very entertaining. I started making my own lures now xD thanks for the entertainment while I poorly hand carve wood xD🖖🏻
Nice to see a new fishing video of your Brendan nice Dr Seuss Grinch 💚🧅 line
Not a McD's fan but the tartar sauce lessens the over powering bread flavor of the fillet-o-"fish"
I fished a small street here in the mountains of Va and would catch stone rollers better known as horny head there wasn’t a place in the creek I’ve 12” deep and the fish was 4 - 6” long but man they were good eating !!!!
2:36 You can see the yellow grub parasite cyst by the dorsal fin.
Creek chubs are super cool little fish!
I like these sorts of videos. I’d watch more

Interesting video! I've tried creek chub a while back and it wasn't the best but was edible
Great video. Who would a thunk to eat a creek chub. Cool. Let's see more.
The only time I had seen a chub was when I played Odell Lake at school as a kid
I bought 2 big macs the other day, had to take out a second mortgage to pay for it.
Never had a fish sandwich in my life. In fact except for ocean fish and the occasional church fish fry ive never had any fish made by someone other than my dad.
I once had a northern die on me and boiled it up and ate northern for a week while everyone else had walleye up in Canada. Kinda sucks eating a 45" northern.
Should have deep fried it with Cajun spice. That swizz makes anything taste good.
unless it's poisonous all fish are edible, some fish get bad raps for no reason, just grind them up and make patties, even squawfish and suckers are very good edible fish! keep teaching!
The cooking videos are 🔥
I never understood people who complain about fishy flavor, if you're eating fish but don't want a fishy flavor than why are you eating fish? When I want fish I go for Catfish generally, it's a good, strong tasting fish.
Filet O Chub
I was just about to write the same comment.
love the challenge! creek chub for the win!
Brendan!! Why did you shave man! I'm so used to seeing you with your mustache and goatee. lol😂
I actually used to work at McDonald's which is hilarious.
Try a carp catch & cook. And make it with a traditional asian recipe. Could be cool.
"Wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole".
Me with a 9.5ft jigging pole: It's on
In a pinch the McD fish is adequate to fight hunger if you don’t eat the bun. I’d try your creek chub.
I worked with a mexican fellow that would go to Alaska and work in the cannery's up there. He would NEVER eat bought fish.
Love it,great video
Awsome vid dude
McDonald’s is gonna have mc’chub on the menu now…
GOOD STUFF
Bruh, as someone who is a simple survivalist, I'd just fry them after gutting and cleaning. Creek chubs taste MUCH better than starving. In any case, I understand the concept of your video. Does wild fish taste better than processed? I'll always choose wild. However, wild fish is healthier depending on where they're caught and the cysts are destroyed by cooking.
Bowfin patties
Try That.
i guarantee your creek chub sandwich is way more nutritious than anything from Mc Deathburger.
What type of fish dofast food chains actually use,if its even fish.
I know it's been awhile, but if you still want to know, it's Pollock. Generally caught in Alaska. Basically, most food at Restaurants just called "Fish" is Pollock. At least in the US.
I would not eat any fish from Ohio after that East Palestine train wreck😂. That Waters polluted
💥🚂🔥🚃💨🔥☣️💦🦠🤒🤧🤮⚰️
Yum yums 😊
creek chub taste just fin i told my dad it was a dore haha
Soon as you mentioned slime, I was out. Interesting vid but I think I found one of the very few foods Im NOT gonna try, right up there with eggplant and live octopus. No, thanks.
Get your sister some contacts. Will change her life in a positive way.
Remember most fisherman want to catch and eat fish that dont taste like fish
First
lol jesus. fry it whole and throw it on a bun. done and done.
This has to be the most un-American thing I’ve seen today. You’ve never had a pho fish sandwich before? Forget the nasty cheese the tartar sauce makes the sandwich.
Bro is running out of ideas 😔
this ain’t even a bad idea lol
Back in the old days, people would use chubs or a chub like fish for traditional smoked fish salad or Gefilte fish. Do a collab with Reviewbrah.
