Hi Nicole! Your project is adorable and believe it or not I made a similar bin and pin cushion last year and I made it using a cross stitch that I had FFO’d in this configuration! I will try to send a pic to you via email, I know You will enjoy seeing it! Thank You as always for Sharing!
Hi Marie, Oh that would be lovely I would love to see it...Using a cross-stitch sound like a brilliant Idea...I might have to do that with my last finish...I was going to turn it into a little pillow anyway...but I can make an autumn theme basket to go with and replace my ort try that I have now :) thank you for the idea hun :)... thank you for sharing with me and thank you for stopping by and taking the time to watch and comment. I appreciate your time :)
Super cute 🤩👍🏼
thank you :)
Great tutorial, can’t wait to give this a go!
I love the pincushion that you can take off the little catch all. Also I was wondering where you got your 1” x 6” Riley from , I looked on E bay but couldn’t find the blue ruler like yours. Thank you for taking the time to read this
Love the fabrics. So very pretty.
You don’t mention where you sourced the crushed walnut shells from. Any ideas?
thank you, you can get them here. amzn.to/3rmUCKP
Hi Meryl: I bought mine at the pet supply store. They are also used for reptiles.
Thank you Suzanne ☺️
Love this idea, Love the fabrics more. Where did you get them from?
the fabrics were a gift from a friend a few years back, sorry there was no selvage on them to let me know what they were or who they are by ...I have been saving them for so long, and I am in the process of redoing my sewing room and they are the perfect colour for my accessories ...I wish I had more...thank you for taking the time to watch and comment :) see you again soon :)
Thank you for a great tutorial Nicole
Will you be making any for us to buy & how much would they be
Many thanks 😘
Hi Cheryl, thank you for stopping by and taking the time to watch...just doing some quick calculations they would be around $18 plus postage...but as I said that is a quick calculation...I was thinking about adding them to the product line...I will be looking at my time contrast after easter and see if I can fit in another sewing day for the shop stock...I will keep you posted on new shop stock on the Flosstube videos each fortnight. thanks again for taking the time to watch I appreciate you being here :)
Thanks Nicole I will keep watch on your flosstube xx
I take it that you use the shell of the walnut?
yes that is correct...Thank you for watching :)
