The GTD HAS to be an EU-delivery imo. Imagine maxing it out on the Autobahn, driving the Nürburgring and Spa, through the Alps and the Eurotunnel and at last seeing it parked in the Shmuseum next to the Ford GT, XX, Dodici Cilindri, Zenvo, the two Black Series... Mind = blown
Here's a serious problem with the EU deliveries: emissions and noise regulations. You don't get as much of that in the US, and if Tim did decide to import the car to the UK, he could still do so. Yes, it'd be very expensive, and he'd have to change some things to make it legal to drive in the UK. However, I think having a US spec car is worth the downsides. What do you think?
It would likely lose about 30-40hp like the regular Mustang GTs delivered to the UK/EU though because of emissions regs and the restriction that adds to engines.
Thanks Tim bringing us a part and showing us a glimpse of this GT owners event. Beautiful, well organized and eventful sums it up. Great content sharing us through the cost like
I grew up in AZ not far from a lot of the places shown here. I love that state and have explored it extensively. Corner to corner, one of the most beautiful, diverse, and memorable states I've ever been to. So cool to see a rally like this. AZ has so many great roads to and they actually take pretty good care of them for the most part.
That amount of cars in the bottom of those canyons around Tortilla flats is also a sight to see. That's always a great drive in almost any car, I can only imagine in the Ford GT.
Thank you for sharing this with us ! I'm absolutely loving every video from almost the start. Keep rolling because you are one of the last good youtuber with interesting videos and content ! Thank You
Shmee! Great to have you with us for the week! Loved seeing your car on the road and at the hotel. Next year I promise I'll do a proper one with more planning and we'll get you there. 😅
I really respect the fact that, you Drive and totally enjoy your cars. These cars are meant to be driven and driven hard. But not abused. If l owned a supercar, wouldn't hesitate to let you drive it. Enjoy the ride and Best Wishes.
The GTX1 wasn’t produced by ford. It left the factory as a normal GT. The owners commissioned the conversion at a coach builder, I can’t remember the name but they were in Wisconsin, and any performance improvements were chosen by the owner at that time. There were a few converted with no additional power.
@@CorvZ061 true, however a GT development engineer also oversaw the conversion. And it was entirely Ford approved, they basically just outsourced the fabrication. So technically yes it is aftermarket, but its in a weird sort of "approved by manufacturer" way.
I'm from Michigan and I've had a few chances to ride in GT's and they really are everything Schmee says they are. I was able to drive a 2020 GT for the first time over the summer and yeah. I think I have a dream car now.
Hey Tim, look into the Shelby GT40 MKII 50th Anniversary Reproduction Replicas that were built in 2016 with a total of 20 units. It was an official collaboration between Shelby and Superformance. They were built to 90% identical spec of the original 1966 GT40s that beat Ferrari at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. I also discovered that sometime after, a race car manufacturer called Holman-Moody started work on producing a continuing run of sixteen GT40 replicas using real "old stock" original parts that were left over from the 1960's. An authentic replica of a 1966 GT40 MKII would be a great addition to the Shmee museum because I think its lacking a legendary classic car like the original GT40!
Dude that white prototype GT40 is so sick it's probably the coolest looking GT40 out of all of them why did they not put those in production those things would have been off the hook I wish I knew the stats on them those are literally like the coolest gt40s I've ever seen in my life
I've driven that road from Phoenix out to Tortilla Flat and it is indeed amazing (looks like there are some others I need to find as well). Someday you need to take the Apache Trail all the way out to the Roosevelt Dam. It gravel/dirt and only about 1.5 lanes wide in some places, but when it's dry it's completely doable in most vehicles (I had an F30 328i rental car when I did it the first time).
Shmee150 Absolutely Incredible Video I'm so glad 🎉you got to join GT Rally XIV and I think it was absolutely incredible to see so many GTs on one Video and that GT1X and GT90 are awesome
Taking the GT up Pikes Peak is one of the best things you've done with it. I took the train as back then it was part gravel and i wasn't insured for that section. I know from my Iceland ferry trips, how odd it is to drive a UK car in a remote place 😂😂😂
Living the dream 💫 once again ✨ I don’t really like the Ford GT but every time is see a new color ‘Ooh’ 🤣💨 Shmee is like a talking car rolodex Man, that is so sick 19:14
THANK YOU! Over the top Programs, & Work: & a lot of * Driving also! Interestingly, cannot help but think these Machines need to be all driven destinations,to destinations ……..
LOVE THIS VIDEO!! I visited the American Muscle Car Museum in Melbourne Florida where Mark, the owner has 28 Ford GTs, he has 17 of the new GTs, 1 new Mk 2 race car, 8 of the 04-05 GTs, a GT40 Shelby Replica and one of the original Alan Mann GT40s that raced at Lemans, seeing that Original Alan Mann and the Alan Mann Heritage Livery made me think of you, this as a Ford GT super fan is just the business.
Better start to save up for the next generation GT that I guess will follow the Mustang GTD. You really do need a 2005 model GT40 in your collection Tim 👍
DANG it Tim! I keep missing you when you tour my hometown! I just visited Tortilla Flats recently and why was I not lucky enough to catch you there? Just bad luck I guess, but WOW what a lineup! Cheeers!
You are a lucky man being able to do trips like this, and it is so cool that you share it with us. Keep it rolling Tim. 🤩
Thanks for watching, there's a lot more to come
Shmee really needs to get himself a previous generation GT.
I promise it will happen one day
I agree. They’re so much cooler.
@@Shmee150 the good old Shmee
Pre Occupied with the Porsche 914 if You do Smhee is it going to be 350GT or 500GT which one.
@@kevletmein Why are they cooler?

Eurotunnel what?😂
Agree…. It will be a total unicorn in the UK
It would likely lose about 30-40hp like the regular Mustang GTs delivered to the UK/EU though because of emissions regs and the restriction that adds to engines.
Honestly, if you mount a similar wing on a current-gen Mustang that also had a track package, it would not look all that different from a GTD.
Hi shmee I'm guys
Hi Shmee & Hi Guys, I‘m 150
Guys hi, I'm Shmee
Shmee guys, I'm hi
Shmee guys hi I'm shmee
😂😂😂
The Ford GT90 looks more hyper car than current hyper cars , in my opinion. Absolutely love it.
Crazy to think how many cars of that era still look great today
really? I think it looks horrible. The interior looks cool but it looks like some weird mashup of a countach and a veyron.
id rather have the ford gt90 over the ferrari f80
@@iangrassbylol
Been one of my favorites since I raced with in NFS back in the 90s!!!
The Ford gt with shmee150 videos never disappoints me ❤
Thank you!
GT still looks stunning after all those years.
Can you believe in 2 months it becomes 10 years old!
@Shmee150 🤯🤯 you joking? Wow, 10 years. I remember that I saw them race during the WEC. Pfff
Aside from the the full carbon ones, Tim’s spec is still my favorite. He nailed it 🍻
Tim got that mcdonalds spec the blue one with the carbon stripes is majestic
Nah tim got that Ronald mcdonald ahh spec
Not even close. Gulf orange and blue the best.
Yup, love the iron man spec
The 04 GT looks stunning, and is aging well
Thanks Tim bringing us a part and showing us a glimpse of this GT owners event. Beautiful, well organized and eventful sums it up. Great content sharing us through the cost like
Love everything you do Shmee!! I always look forward when you dropping new vids!!! Thanks for youre hard work!
I appreciate that!
I love the look of the new GT’s, but there’s something about the look and sound of the older GT’s 🥰
Something about the gulf livery just looks perfect on a gt
It truly fits

R u car guy or just bragging 😂but great grand canyons over there!🫡
@geoffreycarter3981 Shmee was right at home rocking the Sundevil spec GT.
That amount of cars in the bottom of those canyons around Tortilla flats is also a sight to see. That's always a great drive in almost any car, I can only imagine in the Ford GT.
Hearing the stories about how often people go off is quite shocking

These cars are beautiful, so glad you had the opportunity to share it with us 🎉
There are so many beautiful Ford GT's everywhere. I hope you had a great time.
This is the best car of your collection, by far. Looks bonkers, can be tracked, the history behind it priceless.
I really respect the fact that, you Drive and totally enjoy your cars. These cars are meant to be driven and driven hard. But not abused. If l owned a supercar, wouldn't hesitate to let you drive it. Enjoy the ride and Best Wishes.
Very kind of you, thank you
It's amazing how timeless they look. The older ones still look current and the design is so consistent over time. All part of the same family.
It’s nice to see Ford building muscle cars still that customers actually wants vs doing what customers do not want like what Dodge is doing
The GT 90 sat in a small museum for years and years. Great to see her get the limelight it deserves.
I actually prefer the American side of his videos. More engaging car people than in Europe in my opinion
The very first time I saw this car, I fell in love with it. My equivalent of a Countach poster car for the rest of my life.
I saw you guys when I was driving into fountain hills, had no idea this was going on. Saw the old gulf spec and it looked amazing
those cars are gorgeous! but that full carbon was insane!! Tims looked awesome ripping through the track.
GTX1 also had more power from factory with 700bhp because Ford went why not 😂

Great meeting you again this weekend! Loved seeing the GT up close.
02:02 That purple one! Stunning !
One of the best cars in there I will surely add that in my collection in future
That was one of my favorite models growing up. Both in video games and pictures. Still have the model of it in storage
Excellent unique event. Wow, thank you, Tim!
what a video and what an experience thank you for sharing this. like others I love your ford GT.

that carbon with blue stripe though!
I think a older generation GT is screaming to join your collection, it will be really cool to see you do road trips with both of the GT!
Wow this is the craziest ford GT car gathering I never seen this is really cool!!
Thank you for coming to beautiful Arizona Tim!!
Tim for the win! 🏁
Phenomenal weather for the event. Nice for all. 👍🏻
It could not have been better
7:46 are we all just gonna ignore how massive that train is lol
The best thing about this video was honestly the size of the trians in the background.
That's the colour that's missing from your collection Shmee - Baby Blue! It looks so good on the Ford GT and on Ferrari's!
Your Iron Man spec is still the classiest and most striking
The 05 cars feel so much cooler smh 😶
Shmee's spec on the Ford GT is a 1 of 1🙌🏿
Casual Chrysler ME-412 beside the GT90😳🔥
That trio was special to see
I can easily say that yours is the best specced one out there ❤️

Liquid carbon finish is amazing
It is the best Ford GT rally ever
Absolutely incredible to see
The blurred Ford GT was the 1995 Ford gt90 concept
Keep watching 👀 🙂

@Shmee150 Thanks Tim
That ME412 is incredible.
When I think of Shmee150 I think of the Ford GT, it’s such a nice spec
I love the fact that the GT 90 lives right here in Oklahoma! I have got to see it in person many times.
Take delivery in the UK for the GTD, will be a hell of a lot rarer out there
That Chrysler ME412 is also one of my favorites! Quad turbo V12
The views 24:20 look amazing
I think out of all of them, yours has the best spec. Although, that blue with carbon 🥵
yours is on the 3rd place for me, on the first place is what purple (I love purple) on the 2nd place is the one full carbon and after yours
Shmee’s Red For GT And His Blue McLaren Senna Are Two Of My Favorite Hypercar Shmeemobiles ❤
Carbon wheels is a must on that car. its the only hypercar option Ford offered:P
The first Shmee video i saw was him in his purple R8 convertible on the Gumball - he's come a long way .
Another great upload Shmee.

Dang that's so cool!
holy already been 5 years after i watched the collection day of ford gt man time flys by too rapidly insane fast
Shmee you probably have the smartest spec there!
The Ford GT 90 was in Need for Speed 2 The Untouchables!
Now if they did make it, what do you think the run number would be? Id probably say 90. I do like the me412 next it. It's a real nice line up there
I Love FORD GT GENERATIONS!! (2005 & 2017) 💯💯🔥🔥🚘🚘
I’m a fan of the 2022 FGT ‘64 Prototype Heritage Livery

No way!
Tim, when you aquire the 05-06 GT, you should flip your spec and do Alan Mann Gold with Liquid Red stipes
