Down and dirty...Good video, Rodney. I had to replace a belt recently on my X330 and I found out that if you slide a tarp or drop cloth under the deck when you detach it, you can then slide it out from under the mower by pulling on the edges of the tarp or cloth. Just be sure to take pictures before the disconnect, if your old like me, so you remember how everything goes back together.

Rodney, how well does the kit work with leaves? I have five mature maples on my lawn of just over an acre. If I kept up with the mowing every week do you think you the leaves would be pulverized enough as not to show brown dust on the lawn?
Hi Mike if you keep mowing weekly it definitely will keep the leaves to a minimum. I just cut my lawn yesterday and it had a ton of leaves on it. I had to do a few passes on the heavy areas but a majority of the leaves were ground up. Where you will have issues is low spots and wet or packed leaves. All in all I am still pleased. Good luck.

Got an X370 coming. It's held up at the dealer waiting for the mulch kit. Got a 47 year old backup rider. Hope it holds together till the new one is ready.🤣
Looks like the two innermost blades end up mulching all the time even when the chute is open right? I'm looking at maybe buying a z365r and this kit comes installed on it standard. Sometimes I cant help but mow when my yards are wet or a little tall. Should I pass on the model that has this kit?
You may have to cut twice when wet or have the chute open. I did a cut in October when my lawn was really long and wet. I cut it high and with the chute open. It did okay but I cut it again the next day when it was dryer. Came out much better.

Thanks for the video! I know I’m a little late here but I have a question. Are you happy with the turning radius of this mower? I believe this is the mower that I need, but I do worry about the uncut circle. The four wheel steer models are a little too rich for me, and the X3 50 seems just right
Yes I really like this JD. Started up the other day after sitting all Winter and it worked like a dream. Turning radius is fine for my yard. I do have a hill that can give me trouble if slightly wet. I've thought about changing the rear tires to something more knobby. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the info. My yard is flat, but I have quite a few obstacles to mow around. I’ll go to the dealer to get a demo. I’m attracted to the rounded 10 gauge deck, k58 tranny and Kawasaki engine. Stay safe!
jim vanderwood I took a test drive before I bought my X350. Got on a lower model first and then the X350 and it was night and day. Good luck and stay safe.

Travis Joy yes I still like it. However with any mulching deck don’t let the grass be too high or too wet. Still love it.
Did you mower get alot louder? Mine did after.
Having the 48 inch you can take the scalping wheels and pull the the pins turn them sideways and roll it out and reverse them back

Couldn't you just lift the front of the mower with a jack or stands to install the parts? Does the deck really have to come off?
