I just realized that I show a lot of pork and beef, but not too many chicken dishes on my channel. So, in today’s episode I wanted to feature a very popular way to have chicken in Korea, called Dakgalbi. This chicken dish uses marinaded chicken, cooked with typically some cabbage, Korean rice cakes, onions and chives. The marinade is sweet, spicy, vinegar type of sauce, creating a very addictive flavor making you want to eat more.
To show you dakgalbi, I found one of the most popular spots in Hongdae, Seoul. Shin Migyeong Dakgalbi is well known, with over 1000 reviews, averaging over 4.5 stars on google. Also, they have staff who speak English, so it makes it easier for you to order and understand how to eat dakgalbi. If you want to try something other than the traditional bibimbop or Korean BBQ, consider dakgalbi.
Thank you for watching and be sure to hit that like button. Also, I’d love to hear what you thought of the episode. So please feel free to leave a comment below. Have yourself a wonderful day and I’ll see you back in the next episode.

Hi can two people get just 1 order? It looks a lot and too much for one person. Or can customer take out left over? Will go to Korea this September.

The restaurant does charge per person. And the portion shown in the video was for 2 people. Also we added udon, so the portion size looked bigger. But if you think you'll have left over, I believe they will allow you to take it home. Have a wonderful trip and enjoy!

Not that cheap if it’s per person. I miss it though!
