Thank you very much for watching. She's far from new (2002) and this is our fourth year with her. But we've been able to put 12k miles under her keel so far. She is deserving of some boatyard love. CUOTO
Everything you do is so nicely done! Keep it up and I hope to run into you one day in that yard, as my grandkids live nearby in Waterford. BTW if you look around, there are submariners aplenty in that area, and if you have time to listen to any of their stories, it's always time well spent!
Hi, I put an arch-in-a-box on my Catalina 400 a few years ago. I have mounted on it radar, tv antenna, wifi booster and dinghy davits. For wiring, I attached some electrical conduit to the tubing and then through water tight connectors in the deck. Let me know if you want some info or pictures on it.... I enjoy both your channels.....
We don't need to hold you up filming, we just want to know what you did. Still looks like a lot of work and money keeping a boat in the water. I'll stick with model trains thank you and watch you spend the money. Not to mention watching you enjoy the fruits of your work.
What is that round gear looking thing forward of the propeller? It looks like it has sharp little blades. Have anything to do with cutting line that may get tangled? Thanks Tim. Glad you're gearing up to get SV Pacita splashed.👍
Thank you very much for watching Alex. Yes. That is called a line cutter. The previous owner had it installed. With the full keel and skeg protected rudder, it has never had to be used by me. But if I ever get to the western Pacific, I understand there is a tone of floating nets and old line that might find it's way to the prop. So, better to have it than not. CUOTO
