Jon Favreau is honest, poignant, respectful, and a very intelligent man. Nice to see a guest speaking from the heart as well as having a good time with Kevin. Great interview...Chat Show's best episode yet.

@@rampageclover9788 So let's get back to it, "Favreau's a fuck" which inevitably leads to the question: and what have you done with your life, Horatio? I mean, other than drag people you've pissed off to your YT homepage discussion panel?

Fantastic episode. Diamonds. Been watching since the 4th show. This is one of the best. Thanks to all who make it happen. These interviews will grow more valuable as the entertainment industry eats itself. Raw, uncut, unscripted long form interviews by a journeyman entertainer who loves what he does and appreciates his guests. I'm so appreciative of this vault of gold that is chatshow.

What a genuinely nice and amazing guy JF is. I can really relate to his attention to detail when it comes to learning from others... but his comment about having films that are now a part of "the fabric," that's just really cool.

All these Marvel movies that are making gajillions now (Avengers, Guardians, ect) are the result of Jon and Robert Downey Jr's work on Iron Man. That basically set the perfect tone for a Super Hero movie.

And now... Crazy. Plus, he basically revolutionized making movie quality TV shows for next to no money comparatively with The Mandalorian. And now there are rumors that Lucas is back as head of Star Wars with Jon as second in command...

Just recently discovered your show, and I love the long form discussion style. Perhaps a bit less of the twitter stuff would be more up my alley, but I understand why you have it. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to those rare occasions when I have time to tune in and listen to all the inspiring people you've had the privilege to talk to. Thank you to the whole team for making these!

(Dinner for Five) "Not there yet"? Hell, Jon had it nailed! I think the show with Bogdanovich impersonating both Wells and Hitchcock would have been worth the whole series, but it was only one of many dozens of gems throughout. I'm enjoying KPCS for different reasons, and none of them would I see on Charlie Rose.

Jon is so knowledgeable of the inner workings of film and TV. He is well connected, made guy right? Kidding. He's a big Del Close fan I can tell since that comes up almost as much as Swingers. Fav (as his pal Vince Vaughan calls him) has been involved in almost all roles in Hollywood. Writer, actor, sit com actor, producer, bottle washer. I find him interesting to listen to in interviews and he is after all a funny guy. BTW, Rocky Marciano is a good film, check it out. Dinner For Five which aired (on line) for about 3 years I believe 2005-2008 was great. I got hungry watching it. Jon called it the Algonquin Round Table

"and this kind of occasions are the opportunity to get people to sit around a table and share experience, that's the excuse, that's my social life now. You don't get people to gather around a table like that anymore" Oh gosh, how I relate to that.

Chef I think is that film Jon was longing to do when he talks about doing great work as an actor in a film he directed. For me It's my favourite work that he's done, well directed and he is great as the lead too.

I ruined the SXSW scene in Chef.
I'm the reason it cuts off with the sound of a Harley revving, but that was dubbed over me revving my Suzuki in anger at what I thought was some band clogging up S Congress for a music vid shoot.
