A lovely video. Thanks. We must try The Pulpit Inn sometime. Setthorns in the New Forest is only a couple of miles from our house and is probably one of the nicest, quietest sites that Camping In the Forest have. Although there are lots of other nice sites, many are close to very busy roads (A31) or mainline railway (Ashurst). At the moment there are loads of foals and baby donkeys being born. A lovely time of year to visit.
Thank you so much.😊 We love Setthorns. We'd used a Camping in the Forest site before in Scotland and saw they had a few in the New Forest. We picked Setthorns and now wouldn't use another. As you say, it's such a tranquil location. We were there a couple of weeks ago so shame we've missed the foals but will book a bit later in Spring next year. I absolutely love donkeys, they are one of my favourite animals. Just something about them! We really enjoyed Portland Bill as we'd never been before, and did go back a few days later. Thanks for watching, it's appreciated.
Hi, that pub you stopped in was a great place using the park 4 night. Oh how cool seeing that many deer close up. Very tame. Oooh that site looks great. Camping in the forest! Im liking that big motorhome. Need a lotto win 😫 love the tour. NANOOK loved the deer 🦌 ♥ dusty docs. Stay safe Karl Helen and Nook
Yeah it was a great stop over at the pub and the campsite we love too. Nanook is a right nightmare. Drives us mad being an eejit! You'll get one one day.
I'm sure you'd love it if you did but it's quite a trek for you. You'd want a week to get there in my opinion. Lots of bird life though and so quiet and relaxing. We don't use sites often, but we always use this one when we're in the area.
We went there recently and if you walk 30 min into sway there is a teashop , Butchers, two pubs and a Train station that will take you to Bournemouth etc. Really nice !
We've seen the sign for Sway, but it's always looked muddy when we've been there so not got there yet. We will have to gobthere the next time we go. It really is a lovely place to spend a few days relaxing, surrounded by nature.
Beautiful at Portland and what a beautiful campsite too. Amazing seeing those deer like that. Just stunning. Definitely need to go there. Looked so peaceful too. Thanks for showing us around.
Ooooooh! That looks a very nice Campsite. Just looked it up.... not too deer either! (SEE WHAT I DID THERE!!!!!) Might have to wait for another bank holiday weekend. Bit too far for a weekend from where we live. Oh deer! Xxx
We have been back in the West Midlands getting Raymond fixed. Picked him back up today and then it's Wales next week. Still a few more videos to come though of our time down south and then it will be how Raymond got on, and then our adventures in Wales will begin. I'll look it up for next time we are in the area. Thank you so much, always appreciate info on great locations. 😁
Oh yeah, I agree. But just stunning and such an amazing campsite. We got woke up at 4 in the morning by a noise outside, lifted the blind and there was a horse right outside the window. Too dark to film though unfortunately.🐎😞
Thats a smashing Forrest Camp site x Its such a very special moment getting so close to the lovely Wild Deer x I bet the morning chorus is amazing x I was expecting a Brummie shout at the plebs with no lead Helen LOL 😫 Lovely vlog you two x xx 😘👍🚐🚐🚐🚐🚐🐶
You got psychic powers or something with what happened to us today walking Nook lol. Some people get right on your wick sometimes! It's a lovely site. We needed longer there really to enjoy it more as filming and chores took a lot of the time up. But we'll get there again for sure. It's a great chill site. Hope you're enjoying your planning or have you done it all now?
LOL #teambrummie mindreader powers x Yep “Christines” ready to roll x Should be interesting 5/6 weeks ? Good Luck 😘 Drive safe. See ya soon hopefully. 👍🚐😘🐶
OMG wow what. A beautiful camp site that is amazing what camp site was that defo gonna go there lol and the deer you don't see many nowadays they were amazing
It's a Camping in the Forest site called Setthorns. They have a few sites in the New Forest but we like Setthorns. Yeah the deer were amazing to see. Loved it there.
Camping in the Forest have a few campsites and a lot are in the New Forest, but we always use that site as it is so beautiful, peaceful and has walks and nature like the deer. No toilets or showers but we have our own so we aren't bothered about that. It's one of our favourite campsites.
The other lighthouse is the bird observatory, there are rooms that you can stay in, it used to be twenty quid a night , shared kitchen and bathroom but its nice to just stay in a lighthouse ,
Yeah it's a great site. Went there on our very first motorhome adventure in 2018 and loved the place. No, we had no issues where we were parked up on the non electric section as it's more open. The prices do change at different times of year but you get your 10% off if your with the CCC.

It's a boster of a site lol. Might be no loos or whatever but who cares.
Nice to see tetthorns again we worked on that site for two seasons a long while ago when Mel and Sue Reed was the manager. good time!
It's a beautiful site. Only been a handful of times but love it there. Glad it brought back memories for you.
Very nice and big forest area! Thanks for sharing this location. That long old train track path is beautiful. Great drone shoot too👍👍
Thanks. Yeah it's a great camp site. We don't use many but have a few that we always go to. Thanks for watching after your hectic week.😊

So beautiful watching the dears, so well captured. Amazing looking animals but I wouldn’t like to be on the wrong side of those antlers.

@@roaminginraymond that’s a shame, you will be giving David Attenborough a run for his money soon.
Ha ha, I wish. I do love my wildlife though. I'm pretty passionate about it as you may tell lol.

Never knew that so thanks for the info, appreciated. £20 a night sounds pretty good to me.😁
That is one really nice site. Might have to add that one to our list. 😁 Did the trees and branches block any sunlight going to your solar?

The white light house was the original before the red & white was built
Thanks for the info.🙂
