Remember Tall Trees in RDR1 ? it has snow, but hasn't in RDR2. I think it was a region with normal weather. Sun in Summer and Snow in Winter but because of the Blizzad.. RDR2 shows a huge amount of Snow in this area. A nice idea for thinking in story logic is, Chapter 1 is in Winter with Blizzard, Chapter 2 is in Spring, Chapter 3 is in Summer with dry period and Chapter 4/5/6 Fall.. It's a nice thinking but It is contradictory with epilogue.. The trophy of the ending is called "Endless Summer" but days before they were on Mt. Hagen with Snow.. But Mainstory feels like from Winter, Spring, Summer to Fall We shouldn't explain the game too much.
Micah is a bully, and like any bully, he only acts tough when he's got power behind him. Scenes like the jail in Strawberry, and when the guys find Arthur alive on Guarma, show that when he doesn't have power (or those behind him don't), he loses his edge. But as soon as he sees Sadie (devastated and afraid), or Arthur in Beaver Hollow (sick and getting physically weaker)? Like any bully, he jumps on it.
It’s mind boggling how rdr2 fans speak so highly about Arthur. No Arthur wouldn’t give a shit especially at the start of the campaign. Some of y’all really need to understand that Orthuuur isn’t a cutie patootie. Dude’s nasty. Better described by Milton as this degenerate murderer
This may sound weird but I think that Sadie was raped by the O'driscolls. In Chapter 6 she says, "You don't know what they did to me" this may imply that she was taking advantage of. Not to mention that she has been trapped there for days prior to the main story and all the other small details before the shootout in Chapter I. Which would explain even more why she her hatred from Colm and his gang is more than just her husband. She was a victim. Maybe I am wrong.
Not only is that plausible, it seems way more likely that she was kept alive for that exact reason and that she wasn’t so much “hiding” as she was “being kept prisoner in the basement”
This was one thing I liked about that American primevil show they did actually show that this would happen to women that were captured even if they didn’t kill them and it was something they just had to deal with
Dutch doing that kindness to Jake is the reason why I actually believe in the idea that Dutch change after the hit in the head he got from the trap Bronte set up for them. He didn’t have to do that, it was just the decent thing to do and I don’t think it was ever mentioned to Sadie that he did that for him. ( if it was please correct me.)
The Van Der Linde Gang were always thieves, murderers and swindlers. Arthur is actually the one who starts growing a concience and that is only because he encounters strangers who show him a different way of things. Dutch stays mostly the same if you think abaut it. His morality always had a duality to it. Right when the game starts they were running from the Blackwater massacre in wich Dutch shot a girl in cold blood. Dutch was always a monster. They all were... We just happen to play as one of them so we see us as the good guy. We are not... After getting hit in the head Dutch loses his hesitation and slowly his sanity. But all of them were always bad. They are complex and distinct... But bad all the same.
dutch didn't change because of that head injury he got from the trolley job, he just slowly declined into insanity. he acts like a maniac and erratically in chapter 6 because he's deseperate to find a way out, the pinkertons and the army were closing on them, the gang was starting to fell apart and to top it off a lot of members died.
@@michtibaldo7200arthur aint like that, he was eventually a good man, but didnt know what to follow in his life, wasted potential.. Remember the strangers missions where he chose to help them without being paid or anything like that. Also the fact that he cared so much abt Sean's death and how emotional he got.
Nah. He was always mad. Even as early as chapter 2 when he says to Arthur that “You’ll betray me in the end. You’re the type”. Hosea even sees his madness.
I think the trolley accident where Dutch his his head actually contributed to turn him crazy. After this accident, if we greet him after the robbery mission, Arthur asks him if he recovers, and he answers that he has headache since he hurt his head. Since Rockstar never randomly leaves anything, I think it’s a hint or even a sign that it DID contributed in his madness. There’s most of all the fact that his plans keeps failing since Clemens Point and it’s the two last bullets his sanity took
I recently read an article about how a lot of gamers dread starting a new RDR2 game because the start of the game is so "slow." I actually like it. The game is meant to be enjoyed at a slower pace throughout, and this is no different.
Honestly, I love the mission where we save sadie, but it would be nice if she had dialogue about the kentucky saddler horse. If the horse belonged to jake and sadie, then it would be very lovely if every time you rode it or took care of it, sadie mentioned something about it!
It doesn't belong to Jake neighter Sadie Arthur: "Ma'am, that horse we took from your barn... obviously we'll give that back."" Sadie: "That was one of theirs. Kill the damn thing for all I care." Arthur: "Oh, okay."
Good for those who just started playing red dead. but I didn't see any secrets. I knew all this already. Still, Strangeman remains one of the best Red Dead uploaders
I don't use mods, but I've played through 4 times since release (console, not PC), didn't know the basement was for wood. Though it was a cellar for can/mason jar goods, or just a crawlspace.
Searched all around Sadies place and couldn't find any signs of a grave. Also, online, we find out Sadies husband was a drunk and Gambler. I find that so sad after she calls him a good man and she avengers his death.
Jake is not a drunk - also, the Adlers are very poor and often don't have much to sell or crop during the Winter - Jake probably had to buy necessities that he simply couldn't pay back.
I'm pretty sure Sadie did not hide in the woodstorage, but that she was put there by the O#Driscolls as a prisoner. The reason for my assumption: When she confronts fat Tommy, the man who killed her husband, in the farm house at Hanging Dog's Ranch in chapter VI she says something like "I told you, you would see me again", a statement that only makes sense if the two of them had an exchange of words after the O'Driscolls moved into her ranch and killed her husband (if she had been hiding in the basement, instead of being put there by the O'Driscolls, there would have been no confrontation between the two of them, of which she could remind him right before she kills him, during which she impressed it upon him that he would see her again [in a revenge encounter]).
I really love this chapter soundtrack, especially the battle song (« outlaws from the west » I think) that starts playing when we engage the shooting at the cabin with the o’driscolls. It really has a big typical western vibe, and quite spaghetti western thinking about it
