Haven’t played Malakai post patch but Mannn that looks like a lot of fun. So many decisions to be made. Either hold back the tide of norsca and focus arbaal/archaeon/astragoth or stretch yourself out in norsca with all that coastline
Looking at this I might consider trying to just beeline over to Naggarond. Man people used to make jokes about Lustriabowl but compared to the Old World now Lustria is a holiday resort.
Got a bit of a nerf recently... Still valid but be careful not to overestimate yourself... Maybe start with gyrocopters but later upgrade to a thunderbarge doomstack... (Also got a bit of a nerf, but still very very strong!!)
If the slayer army would heal, the two front war wouldn't be a problem. Slayers can kill Norscans easily enough, but not multiple times when they can't heal. The easy part of this campaign is that both of the early major settlement battles are easy (Hell Pit and The Tower of Khrakk). - In the first you wait out the menaces and with kill Skaven in blobs (Super early Skaven is weak af). - The second battle, if Azazel is in the settlement you lure and snipe him first (He flies beyond the wall while his troops do nothing), if not then it is very simple battle.
It is fun, but really hard. Got Arbaal, demons of chaos, chaos dwarf, archaon upon my ass before turn 30. Kislev doing nothing. Add those boring beastmen pop in your regions. Azazel left me alone curiously
Malakai’s campaign is one of my faves… but the only things in Khorne’s roster I ever had a sketchy time with (while playing that faction) was furies, bloodthirsters. And the occasional rampage. Khornate factions were pushovers other than that. What am I missing?

Why not both? Take advantage of the Spirit of Grugni to traverse the Chaos Wastes while your other armies handle Norsca.
meanwhile, me as malakai = full underground kraka drak and horde gameplay !

Uzuhl starts in Lustria.
- Allegedly read the gotrek and felix novels
- fights kislev (another order faction) for some reason
Gyrocopter doomstack ftw?
