GREAT NEWS!!! Wintersun to release “Time II” late summer of 2024: Finnish metallers Wintersun dropped a big bomb recently by announcing that the long-delayed “Time II” album is finally finished. Now the band has followed with a new update regarding the album stating it will be released if all goes to plan in late summer or early fall of 2024 via Nuclear Blast. "This album has been the biggest challenge in my life and I'm still kinda surprised it is finally done." - Jari The band will also be launching a new crowdfunding campaign in March and will be releasing more updates about it in the near future.

The part where the middle section transitions to the guitar solo, when Kotipelto belts "We are heading for the EEEEEEND!" and he jumps up a third mid-belt is just amazing and gives me goosebumps every time. I'm sorry I didn't provide lyrics, as I thought they were pretty easily understood, but I'm likely wrong as I just know them from listening to this song so many times, and the accent is present enough to impact understanding. Moreover, the busy-ness of the music distracts from them. It's that speed and intensity that I love about power metal. As far as Nostradamus, I am not well-read on him. I'm pretty skeptical about prophecies and the like, and tend to think that they are vague enough to be applied to many possible situations, and they tend to fall victim to the fallacy of post-hoc-ergo-proctor-hoc (after-therefore-because-of). I rather take the warning in a more direct sense. Humans are destroying the world we live in, and we must change that or face destruction ourselves.

One very good other oldie is Seasons Of Change. From the more fresh stuff i would recommend The Lost Saga.
