You guys definitely look like a couple of the year. Well choosen wedding outfit. I think the material was songket. Thats why its thick and heavy but beautiful looking..

Songket is really traditional wedding dress.
Its really present Malaysia.
You both look great! At first I liked the pastel one. I thought the pastel kebaya fits Dasol better. But, the navy outfit fits Taehyung better. In terms of size. Anyway, the end result is still great!👍😊
Btw, the headgear is actually a "tengkolok", different from songkok. Kopiah is yet another headgear. For grooms, the songket attire quite typically includes a tengkolok.✌🙂

as a malaysian, i feel proud watching this, i am not a malay person, i came from sabah which lots of ethnicity,,, i always think that if i get married, i wont wear songket type of dress in my wedding.. but seeing u guys being excited on trying this.. it was so beautiful, gotta think abt it ~~~ 😂 btw, both of u are so beautiful in songket..

Actually the one he wore we call it "tengkolok" not songkok.
Songkok is the ordinary type.. usually we wore it in black with man's baju melayu, u can see it during hari raya or sometimes in daily routines. But tengkolok is special one. We wore it for special events and perfomances only..for example : yess off course wedding.❤❤

in Malay words we say.. Raja Sehari, means Kings for a day. So naturally Malay wedding dresses are royalty looked.

You guys look soooo good in the malay traditional clothes. I'm from Singapore and we have a similar culture as Malaysia. And this is what malay Bride and Grooms would wear here too (we wear other kinds as well). So it's nice to see people outside our culture immersing in ours.
Both of you are already good looking,and the costumes compliment both of you well. The choice of color are spot on😊
The attire are quite heavy,and the texture of the cloth doesn’t exactly allow good air circulation,making your sweating profusely..at the end of the day,you’ll be super tired from all the liquid lost from your body😂
Just for information, in Malay culture a newlyweds on the wedding day are given nicknames “Raja Sehari” - loosely translated as “A King (& Queen) for a day” so maybe you can understand why the attire and accessories are extreme - mimicking a coronation ceremony of King and Queen 😄

if you look at the Money, taehyung attire is like that. Royalty attire. Thats why when people get married, we called it 'Raja Sehari'. A Day Royalty. And the one Taehyung used on the head is not Songkok. Its called Tanjak. Thats basically the Crown. Normally more fancy accessories attached to it.

U know bride and groom (pengantin) is called raja sehari in malay terms. Which mean king of the day. Traditionally just like korean culture, commoner dont usually wear luxury type of clothing and historically, gold color only allow for royalty. The term raja sehari is basically describe on the special special day such as wedding, they become and resemble a king n queen. The couple wear luxury and accesory like a royalty sit on the pelamin (sitting for bride n groom at wedding hall) with people tending their needs fanning for them and visitor come giving their respect etc
