Glad your doing the video focusing on the method rather than yourself. Not that I don’t want to see you, but most presentations do not focus on the plant itself. Thanks for doing so. And yes I learn much. God bless your efforts on those.
I would think that maybe dividing when compost is still a little damp, then it would be a bit easier to gently tease some of the roots around the bottom of the pot. Then carefully slip a knife between the shoots you want to separate, ensuring that each section has a decent amount of roots to each section. Then water a little after ,to settle the plant in
That turned out really Nice... I love your adansonii…. Soon I will be repotting my baby and giving it a pole as well :) I hope one day mine will look as nice as yours.
That plant is of the devil. That plant gave me hell until I put it in PON. Within days, it started sprouting new leaves after almost a year of being stuck. Gorgeous plant.
Haha yeah stressful for us too. Noticed every time we do something like that we give out a little scream. 😂 But no worries. Plant is just find...no harm done. ☺️💚🌱
Do you know if yours is a tissue culture one? I just bought one and learned there are differences on these plants from legends of monstera videos. I’m not sure which one mine is and just wondered if you know on yours? It’s very pretty and healthy looking and must grow pretty fast. Any care tips?
Sharon Buening this is the “tissue culture” one. And it seems to grow very fast. I don’t really have any tips. It just grows well. I think the OG one doesn’t grow as fast. I water it when dry and try to give it as much light as I can. Winter is so dark. Glad spring is here. 💚Erica
This was my question as well. I was wondering if the original looked extra special or something but yours looks adorable! I'll definitely save my money
I have two RT in 5" pots and I need to repot both! They are about 2' to 3' tall and I'm pretty sure they're root bound. I would love to repot them into one bigger pot - but I've never repotted two of the same plants into one before. Have you? If so what size do you recommend? Thanks in advance :)
Combining plants is not different than a regular repotting. Just make sure you use a well draining mix and also use the right size pot. You don’t want to repot it in a pot that’s too big because it would cause root rot. Once reported you’ll have a fuller looking plant. It would look great. 🥰 🪴 I combine lots of props I have and my monsteras too.
Thank you! i just got one of these and wondering how to stake it. How did your plant recover after separating?? I have two plants in my pot that I want to separate but want to know how hardy these plants are! Can you update how he is doing? Thank you!
It’s was potted in a terra cotta pot with a drainage hole. We did cover it with something to prevent soil from spilling out tho. Hmm I think it’s some kinda like a plastic screen. We only water when the plant completely dries out.
Such a healthy plant! It looks gorgeous. This is my year to finally get one of these. Thanks so much for sharing!
Carmen Whitehead thank you 😊. Do you have one one the way? Or are you planning to get one. Thanks for watching! 💚Erica

Peggy's Tropical Garden thanks so much. This plant grows fast. 💚 Erica
Your plants look so healthy. You did a great job staking up all three of your plants. Thanks for sharing.
Jo Smith thanks. I love the look of them climbing. And it saves space! Thanks for watching. 💚Erica

Wow-you did a great job! It’s beautiful!😍
Thanks! 😁💚🌱
Beautiful 🥰 and they look very healthy 🌿💚
Thanks! This RT is such a fast grower it’s crazy! 😁💚🌱
This is my favorite plant I love it so much. I want to do this to my plant but everything is so tight in the soil
Soak the soil and slowly use running water to wash off the soil. This method can helps loosen the tight soil. ☺️💚🌱🌸

So beautiful, both before and after.
Nikki Richardson thank you. 😊
Great job. Looks awesome!!!
Plantas y Mas thank you 💚
Hi! I'm wondering why you put the stake in the back of the pot instead of putting it in the center. I love that you included all the updates !
It's just our personal preference. It's easier for us too to put it in the back. 😊💚🌱
It looks awesome!
Thanks!! ☺️💚🌱
How do you get all of your plant leaves to be so big 😧 that pink princess at the end (?) holy cow
We have it a pole to climb and bright conditions and I believe that helped a lot. ☺️💚🌱

What size pot was it originally? 6inch? My plant is just one stem a lot smaller just want to see if I need to repot before next spring
It came in a 6 inch pot. If yours is much smaller and only has one stem you might wanna wait till next year to repot.

I’ll try to get my sis to do an update on it. 😁💚🌱
It’s doing well. Roots haven’t attached to the wood yet.
May I ask is there a reason why not to put the pole in the middle?
We want the plant in the middle front and stake in the back. 😁💚🌱
i just bought one and got it repotted at the nursery.. how often do u water the plant? and i notice the pot u use doesnt have drainage holes?
It’s was potted in a terra cotta pot with a drainage hole. We did cover it with something to prevent soil from spilling out tho. Hmm I think it’s some kinda like a plastic screen. We only water when the plant completely dries out.
OMG your pink princess
Thanks!! 😊💚🌱
I have a small one but just ordered another one.
iddybiddyladybug Leeza always need more 😂
Why did you divide if you put it all back in? Just saying. It would have been much easier..
vicar6225 the branches are pointing in opposite directions. Had to divide them so they can all grow up.
Lol. Root murder
bnnbonnie 😂💚🌱
