I put my rhaphidophora tetrasperma in pon a couple months ago and it is thriving - the roots are CRAZY! It feels easier to maintain in semihydro because you can just top off the reservoir weekly without disturbing the plant, especially if it's climbing the wall. Love your redesign!

I wanted mine to grow like yours!!! I had *TWO* die on me... I just can't keep them alive!!! But I took some cuttings fir my prop box. I had a beautiful little one I potted up just last week, wish me luck lol
And good luck with your rehab!!! 🤞 🪴💚

I love these shorter videos- it’s better for my attention span 😅. I love your styling aesthetic, it’s what I aspire to be like in the planty world

Mine does great in semi hydro but the best improvement was giving it a spagnum moss pole. With just staes as support it got lanky and a bit pale, now it is sturdier, leaves are really shiny and a bit darker green.

Incredible how that Rhaph is doing so well with those teeny roots! I’d be adding some root fertilizer to that one, yup I watered and fertilized all my Hoyas while watching! Thanks love!!

Love it! I hope it grows well for you 🤞🏻 I think I’d have been tempted to chop off the yellow leaves and start it rooting afresh with the rest of the lovely growth!

I loved the video, mine started to attach to the wall with ariel roots after it grew past the bamboo stick. I hope to train it to climb too. Thanks so much!

This is looking the samosa mine, dry rot I suspect. Mine began to yellow around the bottom and then leaves started dropping from the base of the vines. Still pushing out new leaves at the top too. I find older stem takes an AGE to root, the new growth is super quick so I’m considering chopping it all back to start again! I really hope your roots don’t rot in semi hydrationo, they look very dry. Maybe take some cuttings and get them started just incase?

My Rhaphi got so tall & top heavy, that it snapped. I did not get too upset because, sh-t happens. It gave me the opportunity to prop the broken piece. Plus, I redesigned the existing plant. The prop grew roots so quickly and then I popped it right back into the original pot. I adore this plant, it's truly a favorite of mine. I had issues with the bigger leaf Monstera and pests. So, I just do not buy them anymore. I see no reason to when the smaller Rhaphi is so easy & breezy! 💚💜💚

Now I feel like I have to tackle my Raphi-Tetra. My poor thing is on a slim, round, homemade, moss pole and it's very unruly lol.

Is it possible that some roots broke while taking the soil off? Please can you update on how your

My Rhaphidophora also had such a small, unhealthy root system but was putting out growth. I moved it to pon and they rotted. It doesn’t have any roots now and I have it in moss. I want to put it back in soil if it ever comes back. 😢 It is still alive but not happy.

Could you please do a video showing the plants in your home in natural light. It’s hard to know what natural light is ok as most creators use filming lights

My Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma is tiny and the root System is very similar to yours? Plants are weird
What are your recommendations to get them grown big? Mines on a moss pole ❤

I found that most tetraspermas have relatively small roots compared to how big the pant is, I think this is the norm for them

Question! I recently stopped using nicotine as well but I am currently using nic free vapes which still cost money. Does the little thing your friend got you really work? PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

      Hey! Congrats on quitting!
It's definitely not a replacement for a vape, and feels almost like sucking on a dead vape. For me it's been more useful in terms of breaking the habit, but also psychologically having something there to hold and put in my mouth is definitely helping. The thing I've really liked with it as well is if you breathe straight through it (mouth to lung, not inhaling into your mouth first) you get a small resistance hit which could almost kid me I'm vaping when I take really big breaths 😂 It's not some kind of magic fix, and I've definitely just been ready to quit this time, but I'm now 17 days nicotine free for the first time in 14 years! 💚

    • @captainlovebug
      @captainlovebug 8 місяців тому

Congratulations Claire! I am on Round 2 of quitting this summer. I quit earlier then stupidly got a nic vape for a music festival and I was right back at it lol. I'll give that thing a try, the nic free vapes REALLY help, but still cost $20 USD per pop.
I am right there with you as far as time. I want to say I was at 13 years? Kepp it up! I love your channel so much, it really helps with my ADHD when I can body double my plant chores with your videos. @@TheJungleHaven
