There is a state when tou parry every single attack instinctively and i reached it when i was fighting owl
Just beaten Sekiro and last night, and the high I got from beating Isshin the Sword Saint was over the moon. Took me 26 tries and 2 days to pull it off. Your parry checks are insane, makes for a fight that looks like a dance.

Literally beat it last night for the first time and can confirm that it was the best feeling I’ve ever gotten in all my years of gaming. I think I’m gonna be playing this game for time to come and plan on modding the crap out of it to make it even harder.

No, it's a MOD that changes the movesets and attack patterns as u mentioned, otherwise finishing the game once or 100 times doesn't change the movesets or the way u deal with it.
