The game is probably not really running exactly at 200% speed but a bit lower than that cuz the computer couldn’t handle that quickly, so when you play the video at 0.5x speed it feels a lot slower than a normal game.

Played in a practice match against bots on easy mode for an hour - hour and a half and made it so the only way to kill them is via headshots, also turned off aim assist for training so i’d really train my aim. By the time I get back into multiplayer, the other players feel like easy bots and headshots are easier to land and my reaction time is better as well as my aim once I turn Aim Assist back on tldr - practice really does make perfect. Bet this game would be tougher if it was half speed though, lol.

The infamous "you cheated not only the game but yourself" tweet spawned from an article where a game journalist beat Sword Saint Isshin at 50% speed after doing the rest of the game normally, and felt satisfied with his accomplishment (and wrote an article about it for some reason).

At the time of the meeting with Isshin (young Issin), he defeated only a monkey, a fallen nun and a dragon. Therefore, for Isshin, he had to choose a similar strategy. 100 stabbing attacks with a sword right in Isshin's ass, give the old man back his hemorrhoids.
I did this to Isshin Ashina and it’s nuts how slow it feels going back. I literally had to take a break to retire my brain afterwords. Can’t imagine doing the whole game without training up from 125% first though 😅

the only problem is that your parry timing is gonna be off from getting used to the 2x speed
