Hi Natasha. Most people I know do not like smashed beans, if you want it thicker, just leave it longer.

You are correct'ah. An Insta Pot'ah is simply a digital pressure cooker with a few more fancy (but really nice) features.

Yes you can, brown your sugar add your seasoned beans, cover with water and boil until tender.
