You only need to do automatic bed leveling and input shaping. You only need to do the third step of manual leveling according to the tutorial if you still feel that the automatic leveling of the heat bed is not quite accurate. If you look at the bottom of the heat bed, you will see knobs on both sides.
Your reviews are crazy detailed! Aside from all the amazing features you demonstrate what other creator on UA-cam covers things like the rubber feet and manufacturer information plates 🔥🔥 Also, who else takes apart printers to show viewers how well printers are built. Great job, new subscriber here.
48:50 I don't think what you're seeing there is a software problem, particularly since you didn't see the same issue with the other rocket--you're looking at a partial clog in the extruder.
this is clearly an older version, just like creality K1, they fix a lot of thing, it's sad how some companies sell unfinished product just to keep up with the market
What would happen if you leave the doors closed with pla? Also is there a non toxic filament that I can use to have this in my room while watching tv or something? Like I don’t expect it to be quiet but closing the doors probably would help noise. The aux fan apparently is the loudest when it’s closed so might look for a more quiet replacement Not really needed just little nitpicks, most of the time probably won’t matter as I don’t expect to let it run overnight.
I just buy the QIDI Q1 Pro but I have problem for print, I check the temperature on hotend with thermal camera and i see I have only 72 deg C maximum on hotend outside when I setup for PLA 220 deg C. If you can please check with thermal camera what temperature on hotend you have on your Q1 Pro, thank you.
guessing you had this printer for awhile before reviewing it? seems you got the model before lot of the upgrades and fixes QIDI implemented. @36:42 have a link to that file?
I know this is for comments on the video but I am stuck literally.I am unable to log on to Wifi and I do not know how to get Klipper or Orca slicer ,any help would be greatly appreciated. I have printed the included models and they are perfect but only in Pla and this was bought to use Abs Asa etc. Help please.
Hi, Klipper is already on the machine. Wifi should work out of the box, it's dead easy unless your printer has an issue. you can also use it with an Ethernet cable (haven't tried it) but really Wifi should work. If you're absolutely sure about your network password then send an emailto Qidi support (email written on the printer I think), they're super responsive (mention your order number, it will save you a couple of emails !). There is no point to talk about klipper and Orca till you get your Wifi setup ok.
@@hipton1989 The older version had a pigtail bowden-thing off of the back instead of a port on the left side for filamant loading, also the build plate used to have a single center stop while the newer version has a stop at each back corner. Mine also has an RJ-45 port for network connectivity which I believe the older version dindn't have.
@@hipton1989 and also bed has more magnet becauses testing version had only 3 and bed was raised when asa printed. and bowden tube with wiring should not touch to top cover anymore .

On a long print the enclosure can get warm enough to cause heat creep and nozzle clogging
