There's no problem getting offended for rational reasons. I'm offended by the government of rich countries leaving people sleep outside, in the street, while public money is wasted on absurd projects like the Hyperloop or solar highways.
I'm not offended by people exercising their right to free speech, even when they say offensive things. I may be offended by the content of what they say, but I will face it and respond to it instead of asking for censorship and safe space.
