I think that using animals names softens what a person says. Its the adjective before the animal name that makes it interesting.
So a pig or a piggie or a greedy pig are each different.

But can you not understand what she's trying to say? Some people that use animal words in a negative way, will associate that animal itself as negative so could actually go on to abuse it.

@@wxyz9035This applies to "Some people" not everyone, most people aren't animal abusers whatever terms they use to insult people, but there are a lot out there. And a lot of people who hate spiders and wasps actually kill them, and i bet if they saw a rat they would kill it too. Also i know many people that think pigeons are vermin and will kick them and scare them, and that's all without using their name to insult a human.
@@wxyz9035 And you need to flip around what you're saying "They hate them because their behaviour and not because of a metaphor" A lot of people will never meet a pig in their life if they don't go to a farm, yet they could use the term "pig" all their life to insult a human. What would then happen if they did meet a pig? I can't imagine them being kind to it, because they've built up negative association with it already without ever even laying eyes on one.
