Kid should have just went up and told his dad what he found as soon as he found it. He took a chance, he attempted to manipulate for profit and oppression and then he lost in the end. He tells, she leaves....an 'enemy' gone....and life for him continues. Life. Simply a series of moments and decisions. Later.
