Wrong on two counts. You can thread your needle so that there are no tails. And use a Qframe on your fabric and you won’t have creases that are hard to iron out.

How do I keep my stitches from showing the fabric? I always see gaps between the croses
Hi there! You can create a thicker stitch by using more threads on the needle! This should fill n your gaps. For a 14 count aida, try 2 or 3 :)
