Glad I learned on analog planes. Flying is not a video game. Computers have ruined the flying experience in my opinion.

Sims have unlocked training opportunities for countless potential aviators, at the very least satisfies people's curiosity about flight. This isn't the 1920's like when you learned how to fly, its is prohibitively expensive for most to get into, and the miracle of human flight needs not a gatekeeper like yourself.

      Hi,
I also learned on Anolog, and still enjoy flying analog to this day. But I also do not feel that the glass cockpit makes it feel like a video game. If anything it paints a much better picture for situational awareness. And from a safety standpoint I really do enjoy flying the G1000 equipped aircraft. We are working on some Analog versions of the C172 right now.

@@AviationTrainingFoundation safety wise Glass cockpit is miles ahead of analog, and simulation serves it purpose either for real pilots, simmers or gamers.
