Indonesia and Thailand are really the international custom/café racer scene now. Nice bike! Il love the embossed tank line. They prooved that size doesn’t matter!
this is what i've been waiting for, this man made several bikes not just the byson, and surprisingly all the stance are good to look , and what i can say is he's got a good taste in custom bike culture. thanks for the review
Like Juli's previous build, I am stunned by the finished sense of iconic style and beauty. Such quality in simple but not easy to accomplish details. It is as if Juli's and Kevin's projects are truly the standard with the strength of long historical orthodoxy that escaped through a parallel dimension to find only adoration in our universe. Ohhhh man, I need at least a poster of that bike. Already thirsty for your next episode!
Great video Victor, as always. Juli has done an excellent job with the Ninja, it's one very cool looking bike with lots of class. Ride safe and take care mate. Cheers
Thank you my Dear friend for sharing your opinion. I think with the exception of the very low suspension, the overall stance of this bike is absolutely perfect. You too. Thanks. :) Cheers
It's really cool. Much better result than Harley 3 tons thingy. I like very much what he did with a deposit and tyres. Just have no clue how this tyres eat the curves. The rounding of the elements is much closer to aesthetic principles of today, and I like it very much. Thank you Victor.
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. The motorcycle's behavior on the road with this type of tire depends greatly on the rider's level of demand. If you really like this type of tire, then I recommend the Shinko E270. The quality of the rubber and tire profile is much better than the classic Firestone Deluxe Champion. :) Cheers
When I moved to Australia I had a GPx 250 as my first bike having built and ridden Trikes in England for 15 years. It was a great little bike (until the water pump decided to let go in a terminal fashion)! I would not have expected it to be converted into a lovely bike like this!! Yes, I'm one of the people who doesn't like the big tyre/minimal suspension look. Great for posing and looking cool but I wonder how practical it would be out on the roads ... one pot hole in the road and "OUCH!" ... however it some how does look right for the stance of the bike but the first incarnation of the tyres was better (4.50x17 rear) I do like the side covers fitting into the frame so perfectly and the look of the fuel tank is spot on!! I also like the additional catch tank for the radiator with the external level gauge. A nice little touch! (I've used an old Corrs Beer Bottle before now as they are made of aluminium ... and it just happened to be near by!! The wheels look great, as the original Kawasaki ones would not have gone with the look. And Yes, You will see me on the next video. L&R From Down Under.
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. Yes, the suspension and tires of this project were really taken to an extreme level. Just like you said, the 4.50 R 17 rear wheel would be the best option. :) Cheers
What a great bike to choose to feature Victor ! For some reason, I haven't been able to catch your videos on a regular basis ! I have your notifications set for every one, but rarely can I catch your videos lately, and it's bike choices just like this amazing piece of art that I don't want to miss Victor ! Thought you might want to know.
@quadsman11 Thank you my friend for your feedback. I don't know what's going on, but lately, I've noticed fewer views on new videos. Fortunately, this video is an exception, and is attracting much more attention than usual. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers
A very clean looking build that punches above its displacement. To look at it you would never guess it is a 250cc. Definitely not enough clearance on the rear fender; one little pot hole and that fender is getting pounded.
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. Yes, the minimum travel for suspensions practically does not exist. But for the aesthetics sacrifice, the Owner thought it was worth it. :) Cheers
Reminds me a little of the Kawa eliminator 250 i did my license on. Engine, colors, reminds me a lot, just a little cooler. The eliminators headlamp with cover might fit here also very good!
My cousin brought this Ninja motorcycle on bike trailer behind a gold firebird with eagle on engine hood. He an his dad were working at aviation company building X-15. He gave me some drill bits he used along cockpit an air intakes. They could only use one drill bit for every one hole drilled, so thousands of drill bits started laying around.
A very nice and correctly proportioned design! Overall, I think it’s very good work. And, as always, thank you for Racer TV, the Café Racers only choice! Ride safe my friend and hope all is well with you. cheers:)
Thank you dear friend for your support. Like i said in the video, the suspension and tires are on the extreme level. But the general stance is perfect. I hope the same from you. Thank you. You too. :) Cheers
You said everything. This Ninja 250 is without a doubt the best cafe racer project I've seen to date. :) Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers
great looking bike!…but i struggle to consider something to be truly cool if function is sacrificed to form. And harley davidson did go there too…my theory is that we will return to a time when function rules again, and designers will build bikes that look and feel even more amazing…and timelessness will be of high priority… I don’t want my comment to be taken as a snub towards designers and builders of bikes that push the envelope at all costs, because I believe it’s a natural step towards total perfection in every regard. thanks again buddy!
Over the years, I had two Ninja 2050's; on aa recent model and on a 1982. The 82 was faster as it did not have all ot the pollution and "governor" controls of new bikes. I loved them mor than the Honda 500 that I had later
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. The motorcycle's behavior on the road with this type of tire, depends greatly on the rider's level of demand. @@FightFilms Yeah I know, but it's a look, that's cool in SE Asia. They're not doing the twisties, just looking cool at café's, bike shows and cruising around the city. Let them enjoy that. Racer TV pointed out that the Firestone Deluxe Champion, is better for the trad square tire, so that's something.
Thanks friend for the suggestion. I've been looking at their Instagram, and I recognize that their projects are extraordinary. However, they are not the type of projects that this channel's audience likes to see most. Racer TV followers prefer to see less elaborate projects, with a simpler approach. No, the swing arm has only some adaptations due to the dual shock conversion. However, the length is the same as factory. But the turnbuckle/wheel axle is a little further back. perhaps to make room for the big rear tire. cheers.
Doesn't the back have little to no travel? I weight 225 lbs (103 kilos) on a 6'1 frame and that little travel could be completely gone with me just sitting on it. That said, it looks amazing and with that 250 Ninja engine it must move so fast. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. The motorcycle's behavior on the road with this type of tire and short suspention, depends greatly on the rider's level of demand. Looks over function never works for me, beautiful looking bike "but" with that suspension setup it can't be ridden properly with the rear wheel scratching your arse at every pothole, and in a hard braking situation the front suspension won't take it, I believe that's why the guy ride it very slow, so in my opinion (that nobody ask for) a great looking motorcycle if isn't rideable isn't that great, nice presentation Victor, as always!👍🏻
