This formula is the simplest formula for all beginners who want to make their own creams at home. Although it is such a simple formula, the benefits are simply amazing.
GRAPE SEED OIL: is rich in vitamin E and omega-6 fatty acid. It moisturises the skin, heals acne, brightens the skin, tightens pores and reduces the appearance of scars.
CUCUMBER: extract brightens the skin, moisturises the skin, helps to brighten and rid the skin of excess oil and clogged pores, and it soothes the skin and relieves puffy skin.
Ingredients for 100 grams:
Oil Phase:
22% Grape seed oil (this oil does not clog pores)
2.5% Stearic acid
5 % Emulsifying wax
Water Phase:
60% Distilled water
2% vegetable glycerine
0.20 % Xanthan gum clear
Cooling Phase:
4.20% Cucumber extract
2% Vitamin E
1.10% Geogard 221 (Preservative)
1% Perfume oil

How do you adjust if pH is higher or lower than 5?
You raise or lower the pH by adding in a pH modifier. The pH value can be raised by adding a 10% sodium hydroxide solution to the product, or baking soda. And it can be lowered by adding citric acid to it.

Thank you dear, you can leave out stearic and replace the percentage of stearic acid with oil. Stearic acid gave the cream its rich consistency.

What is the substitute preservative?
Could I do beeswax instead of normal wax ?
Love love LOVE the video! I do have a question though. Is it possible to substitute all of the water for Aloe Vera juice (the cosmetic juice grade, not gel)? Or if not all of it, can I substitute some of it and what percentage would you recommend? Also, if the ph is too high or low then how would I go about adjusting it? Thank you very much, glad you like the recipe. Yes you can definitely substitute the water with aloe vera liquid. Bear in mind that there is aloe vera liquid 1 - 1 and with this, you can completely substitute your water with it. it should not be heated above 60°Celsius and works best in pH of 3.5 to 5
There is also aloe vera liquid 10 - 1 and it is recommended to use between 2 to 7 % in a 100 grams formulation. This should only be added during the cooling phase, that is around 40°celsius and it works best in pH of between 3.5 to 5

If we need to keep our Moisturizing Cream for one year under normal room temperature, what preservative is in which quantity is most suitable? is there any impact to the product that, if we increased the amount of preservative we using?
Thank you very much. glad you like the content. For this moisturising cream, the best is to use a any broad spectrum preservative that covers a wide pH range, like liquid germall plus. When working with preservative, you should only use the recommended dosage. Please never go above or below, else your product will go bad.

Thank you, glad you like my content. No, I do not add xanthan gum to all my formulations. Xanthan gum is not a preservative, it helps to adjust the consistency of the cream.
What will be the shelf life of the cream?
For the essential oil: Do not use 1g of cinnamon essential oil or any other "hot" essential oil - it would burn away your skin.❗ Use a skin friendly oil like lavender.
