I have the 1600 -2000 2400 and the ASW28 models from volantex. For the 2400, just combine Flaps as ailerons for more roll. And get crow for braking. I would recommend 4s, get a hobbywing skywalker 50a esc. That will do more right to the plane!
To roll faster maybe having aero kind of mode ( flaps assisting the ailerons) might help. Anyways, very nice plane and flying. This plane seems like it don't want to land :D
@@tdogrc - Excellent thank you... Does this receiver have the telemetry sensors built in for altitude / sink-climb rate? - or is that an additional module you plug in? - I assume the Receiver is actually a 'transceiver' to transmit the data back to the main Radio?
How much weight did you need to add? I've got one of these and with the recommended battery, 2200 3S - which looks longer than the one you have fitted, I needed to add over 5oz to get anywhere near the CoG. Still battling with it, I find it highly unstable. Not sure if its me or the model!

Hi, have watched a number of your videos now, most enlightening, thanks. I am hoping to get into RC, have spoken the John W and hope to meet up with him at the field when there is some better weather. Hope to see you there sometime to get some more advice on training and selecting my first plane / transmitter etc. Regards Helen
Super merci pour vos vidéos. Je viens de recevoir le même je vais apprendre a voler avec...😊
Merci!

Your vids realy helps me out thnx again bro
That’s great. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

Hi, What equipment have you installed additionally either in the radio, and/or glider to give the altitude and thermal beeps?
Hi its a FrSky G-RX8 receiver. Thanks

@@xoio it’s all built in to this receiver so you don’t need anything else 👍🏻
@@tdogrc - Excellent, i shall have to get one for my 2.4m Phoenix 2400
Do you have any idea about the airfoil for this plane.
How do you mean?
hi i've got one and it will arrive. can i know which battery is the best for CoG? or how much heavy it should be? thank you
Hi. I used a 2200 3S but still needed to add nose weight. So I reckon 2500 to 3000 could work. Cheers 👍
In the U.S we cant fly anywhere near a power plant or dams. Nice video
That’s a shame. Thanks for watching 👍
Lovely place to fly (where is it?) - I always wanted to get one of these - confirmed with your videos on it - thanks a lot. Cheers!
Thanks for that. It’s our club flying field in the UK midlands. Thanks a lot for watching 👍

Think it was about 150 grams. I know it was a fair bit. It is pretty stable now though. I have it just nose heavy. Thanks for watching 👍
What size LiPo are you using and what is your AUW with battery. Thanks in advance for responding.
2200 3s. Sorry I don’t know the AUW. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
@@tdogrc did you get your cg right with 3s 2200mah ?? Mine is pretty tail heavy
@@BhaveshSanganivaayuchaalak yes same. I had to add some weight to the nose. About 50g or so.
@@BhaveshSanganivaayuchaalak It seems that he need a 3S 3300mah with the battery put at the far front to be at the right CG
Is there a flaps on this plane?
Yes 👍

What radio/controller you are using?
Radiomaster TX16 with FrSky GR8 receiver 👍
@@tdogrc what is the max range of that set up?
@@amadeuspati980 probably about 2km 👍
@@tdogrc have you tried the frsky x9 lite s is it better than radiomaster tx16?
@@amadeuspati980 no I haven’t. I would say the Radiomaster is the best radio on the market in my opinion.

Great stuff thanks Helen! Glad you enjoyed them.
Plenty of thermals from the heat of the radiation on that power plant
😂
Are you flying by a nuclear power? 🫤
lol. No it’s not nuclear.
