So brilliant!!! I had already bought resistors for the airbags but I'm going to do this instead. So glad I waited to start my build. Can't thank you enough for sharing!

Great video!!! This video answer all of my questions about having an airbag on a camper van. I just need to learn how to install reclinable passenger seats and I’ll move forward with a camper van build project!! Thanks

Great job! Been waiting for this upload. I will most likely keep my air bags also, and wanted to see what yours would look like. Very nice!!

Thank you! I couldn't find anyone showing how they built over the airbags when I started. Hoping people will share different ideas and techniques to make it easier for others. Using the existing holes and plus nuts opens up a world of possibilities.

Is the parking spot level? 😮😂😂

Yes, I actually parked it in the middle of the road and used a level on the floor to make sure it was level both ways. The bad news is once you start traveling you never park on anything level. 🤦

Carpeting around the air bags using magnets seems like a good idea, but with out Testing I would not trust it to work in a collision. I would Not do it. (Industrial Engineer, retired)
