If something can't be put into a mathematical equation, it doesn't exist. Maybe we haven't found the formulas for things like black holes, but people are chemical structures and matter is certainly made of something smaller. Thus, Chiptide has confirmed that pokemon is one of the video games of all time.
Oh we definitely found the formulas for things like black holes. In fact the existence of black holes was first proven by a math quirk in Einstein's special relativity. Black holes were first found through math then proven through observations.
I am a turkish statistics major and loved the first video. I am continuing to watch the other two but wanted to show support. Our currency is very sh*t and i cant afford much but wanted to show appreciation to your insanely time consuming work. Discovered your channel today and my only sadness is i was this late
Whats the fastest speed you can get with the WORST run? Edit: id imagine worst run being you loose all rng rolls, but your inputs are as perfectly timed as possible (without rng maniping)
"worst luck" questions are difficult to define well, because something that is bad RNG for the normal strategy could be good RNG for a completely different strategy. People often define the question based on what's bad RNG for the normal strategy, but now you know exactly what's going to happen, and you can choose a strategy which exploits that -- potentially nullifying some or all of the challenge. The most comprehensive "worst luck" answer would require *adversarial* number generation, meaning someone just as smart as you knows the strategy you're going to use and will choose the numbers to thwart that, and you're not allowed to pivot strategies without telling them so they can pivot their future numbers to match. But finding the best strategy against an adversary who will know the strategy you pick is a much larger problem than picking a strategy to work with one particular set of "RNG" numbers.
23:00 in firered and leafgreen you dont do 52 tiles on route 1 where you can catch a pokemon. you go up and down route 1 once each without pokeballs you only get pokeballs after delivering oak his parcel before going up route 1 a final time.
3:50 actually there are 2 cans that gives you the same result, the one in the center is functionally equivalent to the one in front of you since the same step are required to check 3 cans. Probably even the center top 1, even if reversed gives the same number of steps
I actually meant to talk about that in the video, but in Fire Red you can’t find Pokémon with Pokerus naturally. I guess they wanted to stay faithful to gen 1, so the only way to get Pokerus is by trading in someone from one of the hoenn games

Fun fact, the creators of this pokemon game also proved this fact when they put the game into their console realising it as a game that exists
can you put the number 3 in math quetion i really like that number

If the One Piece is real, and math is real, does that meant that the One Piece is math?
42:00 Answer is here
These videos are a bunch of things I don't understand at all but I still watch for some reason

rebuilding pokemon in a spreadsheet? sounds like something nintendo would bury you for
I knew the chiptide was nerdy but not this nerdy
Honestly? I'm not surprised.
But then, I'm also (almost?) that nerdy ngl
hell yeah hour and a half chiptide movie
Bro this is the best way to pass school blocked websites lol
I watched the whole thing without realising it was a compilation and I thought it was familiar
This is quite possibly the nerdiest thing ive ever seen
and i love it
Holy Chip, this is insane! How much overtime did you and Richard have to pull for this one?!?!
Amazing vid as always!

You were so preoccupied with whether or not you could... yadda yadda Jurassic Park quote
Hell yeah spread it wide open
Already seen all of these... BUT DO IT FOR THE CHANNEL WATCH TIME
He really likes that WPI shirt
27:53 I was hoping you would explain the formula 😂
I love this so much
47:45
nuzlockers wouldnt use repeat balls
I wonder if you could make a TAS That uses RNG manipulation to get these exact results.
Is there a rule in Fire Red that prevents you from getting an encounter on the first few tiles in a cave?
Have I watched this video before? Regardless, excellent work great watch😁
Btw I don’t think you took into account Pokerus which would have doubled your EV gain and potentially made some edge cases easier
I actually meant to talk about that in the video, but in Fire Red you can’t find Pokémon with Pokerus naturally. I guess they wanted to stay faithful to gen 1, so the only way to get Pokerus is by trading in someone from one of the hoenn games
Magneton is a steel type
I want to know if a Batman-trained Spider-Man would Spider-Man have an easier time with Spider-Man Rogue’s gallery.
Woo!!
