I think Duratec HE is one of the best 4 cylinder at moment. Its very simply build yet economical and it can be converted in to racing engine by fitting cosworth parts and ECU mod. I liked K20 but now Duratec HE.
There is a unicorn in the radiator. It comes from the land before time and is transported by superman, so if you need to replace it, you have to pay shipping from krypton.
A simple google search and within 5 mins I have gained in depth knowledge of my new car's engine and positioning of all components. Great work guys!

What parts exactly and what sort of ECU mod ? I have the Duratec HE 1.8 NA and ive been told to not even bother adding any mods.

I'm pretty sure there is both there. About 30 sec will see the bearings go in, and 1:11 will see the head gasket.

the duratec HE do no have VVT. As far as I know only the 1.6 duratec t-vct has vvt but i think that it is not available at the US yet
Although I haven't noticed crankshaft bearings.
Ok, Seriously now... there are two sets of hoses. One set is for the heater core, the other for the radiator.
