I can't listen to this song anymore... When it came out, I literally felt every word of this in my soul. It's almost like it was written for me... I can't listen to it anymore bc it puts me back in a super dark place.. The song is great. The lyrics are great...it just hits

OMG CITIZEN SOLDIER!! YAY!! Ive been listening to them for just over a year now since my last breakup. It really does hit you in the feels, and it has helped me a lot, either to be strong and get through it, or just to let it all out so I can be better. I don't know if this is coincidence, but today I just started falling back into the dark again, and this video was a really really great help. Thank you for reacting to them!

im so glad that yall reacted to this song because ever since i first found this song it has been so special to me and as of recent it has become even more special to me. Because 34 days ago today at the age of 23 i did as the song said and started "taking back my life" because i finally broke down and realized i had an addiction and that addiction was slowly getting worse and worse because up until 34 days i go i wasn't living life i was just surviving and over these past 34 days i have learned SO MUCH about myself and life in general. and one of the best things ive done is for the first time since my pawpaw (grandpa) passed 9 years ago i went to visit his grave and i never did before becuase of a mix of things like me being angry and my pawpaw for dying, and god for taking him from me (and in all honestly i think i died the day he died as well or at least that was the begging of me dying) and i never saw the point in a grave because they are dead so whats the point but for the first time in i dont know how long when i went to his grave i felt peace that i havent ever felt and ive been going back and siting for hours since then.
And i kid you know it feels like this fog has been lifted and life has felt so much more real and worth living and i know its still gonna be a while before im truely ok and being the person i always wish i had the courage to be but im fine with that because now i wont be just surviving life im going to LIVE life. Anyway sorry for the rambling lol im just glad yall reacted to this and i hope you both have amazing days much love guys ☁

This song is hard to listen to. The first half I've been there, on the edge of that ledge. Wondering if everyone wouldn't better off if I gave up. But then the 2nd half tell you to fight and take back your life. To find a reason to fight, to stay. It takes a lot to stay, to ask for help. Saying you're not fine takes courage. Stepping off that ledge is not something you can undo. Please ask for help before you find yourself leaving everyone behind.
